I see that Kenneth Carter has apparently qualified and will be reporting to the plains soon. This is very good news. I was thinking we needed one more defensive tackle in last year's class because I thought Carter wasn't going to qualify. I am glad I was wrong.
I was glad to see that too SFC. Apparently he reports to Auburn on Monday!

The great news on Kenneth Carter got me thinking about the scholly limits again. 5 of these 32 count towards the 2009 limit. That leaves 27 with a limit of 25 who can enroll with a 2010 scholly. Any update on who gets left out and/or doesn't qualify?

Jeremy Richardson is already enrolled in JuCo for the Summer and plans to re-sign with AU in December if everything goes according to plan. That leaves 1 more spot that would need to open up. I haven't heard any further speculation as to anyone else that may not qualify. The Punter would be the first on the list to Grayshirt or walk-on.

What may be the most impressive thing about this signing class is the number who actually make it to two-a-days. In the past we have usually had about 17 or 18 by August.
