Auburn football gets another commitment

Hey everyone. Quick word that Sweet Water linebacker Chris Landrum has committed to play football for Auburn beginning in 2011.

He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs approximately 215 pounds.

We know Auburn was hot after Landrum because it brought the ~~Tiger Prowl~~ traveling band of coaches to Sweet Water two weeks ago. He has a standing offer from Alabama ... and other programs.

why not merge the ideas? the sec should expand to 26 teams and relegate 10 teams per year. bring in southern miss, troy, usf, fsu, gt miami, tulane, uab etc. being relegated would basically be like being in conference usa now. you still have a boise st.-like shot at the mnc by going undefeated through lower tier sec play and beating the upper tier it plays but are also basically a built in ooc game for the upper 16 while keeping the $$$ in house. something like bottom 4 and top 4 get switched each year. talk about drama and something to write about. gnite.; 11:55 PM

These kids have publicly stated they grew UAt their whole life and never even thought of coming to AU until they took a visit and were impressed by the coaches and the atmosphere and the campus. I mean you are talking about being a fan of the last National Champ, a life long fan at that, and you go to their rival.
