Hey where did ehyou go?!?!?! Come back ehyou!
ehyou doing a drive by. Guess he's not cut out for the Grit Pit.
Folks are doing all they can to temper any AU fan enthusiasm.
https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/auburn-fans-will-not-like-this-prediction-for-the-2016-season
How many days we got, THT?
445 days until kickoff 2017!
GO TIGERS!
WARRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
I didn't realize Noel Mazzone had left UCLA for aTm, or at least I didn't remember
Yep. That did happen.
Initially, thought that would be bad news for the rest of us in the West. I'm not so sure anymore. aTm has chosen to become a very weird/dysfunctional program. I don't know what to expect from them.
NHL planting a team in Las Vegas. Yuck.
Think we could get them to consider Birmingham instead?
Well, they'd have to be in the West.... like Auburn.
Geography is tough.
Maybe that's ehyou's problem. He's bad at geography. Took a wrong turn at Albuquerque, and couldn't find his way back here.
I've only been through Albuquerque once, at dusk. Found some crappy place for dinner and scurried on up to Santa Fe for the night.
June 15, 2016, is the 170th Anniversary of this
Softball substance!
http://auburn.247sports.com/Article/Transition-year-Not-for-Auburn-softball-45813031
Pretty cool, THT. Did they not scan the whole thing? Looks like something is missing after the page with the IV article. Seems like it stops mid-sentence.
bubbs, you know you can't count on the government to do things efficiently or correctly. Looks like they left page 9 out and put a duplicate image of page 10 in its place. I guess that voids the treaty. Get ready for war with Canada.
I watched Galaxy Quest on Netflix last night. Hadn't seen it before. Been meaning to watch it for years. I enjoyed it a lot.
Treaty be damned, you can't trust a country that celebrates Boxing Day.
To war! To war!
Not to mention, their NHL teams are awful. However, I've heard they are planning an alliance with Eurasia and will formally announce it on Irony Day.
One of my friends just posted a video on facebook titled "When Orange Jerseys Motivated Auburn"
It's H! Guess what? Penguins are still Stanley Cup Champions!
443 days until 2017 kickoff!
GO TIGERS!
WARRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
I was at that game. AU played great. Orange jerseys apparently motivated the officials to complete hose AU on multiple occasions.
I know Jet has some officiating experience... I'm starting to connect the dots here.
We're 1-1-1 in orange jerseys ... Should probably wear them every game this year.
That's a great idea, bubbs! There's just no way it could cause any harm. And maybe navy blue pants for road games. We need to pull out every trick in the book until that long snapper dude arrives next year to save us from our awfulness.
So I was wondering this morning: seeing as how quickly Cam became a proficient NFL (NFL!) passer, is it actually a black mark on Gus's record that he was so terrible at passing to start off the 2010 season?
I don't think so, but the popular thing right now seems to be to poop on Gus's coaching ability, so I thought I'd throw that out there.
I remember his passing improving over the course of 2010, which would speak well of Gus. Besides, we've been over this. Gus' problem is roster management.
... Now that I think about it, if things go unexpected well this year (see post on orange jerseys), you could add that he's been terrible at coach management, too. This year he junked what he was trying to do and got a bunch of "yes" men for coaches. If that works, maybe he'll figure out the player roster too ... 443 DAYS TILL KICKOFF!!
I recall greater trust in Cam's passing and increased frequency of passing as the season progressed; was there really that dramatic an improvement? I think we'll see the same trust in JJ this season...
"Dramatic" is such a... dramatic word, THT. I definitely remember improvement. To what degree, I dunno. That would probably make a fun article to read. Have someone hash through a bunch of game stats and see if they can quantify it (I think you'd have to go beyond comp%, that's not the full picture).
I'd say the improvement was dramatic. The passing game went from horrible to great by the end of the season. And I don't need stats to prove that, either. Stats are for cowards.
Hey, a national guy talked a bit about our QB situation... but was is really interesting in this article is where he talks about Verne:
http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/mailbag-baylor-bears-art-briles-auburn-gus-malzahn-verne-lundquist-michigan-state-061616
"But today, of course, he's (Verne) most synonymous with the Cam Newton Iron Bowl, the Kick Six, the Miracle at Jordan Hare, Johnny Manziel beating Alabama, et al."
We really have been blessed with some all time great games on ole CBS.
5 INTs first 6 games; 2 next 8 games
Otherwise, his cowardly stats were pretty consistent throughout the season.
I concur on labeling Cam's passing improvement as dramatic in 2010. We'd of had no chance in completing the greatest comeback in Iron Bowl history with Game 1 Cam. Or Game 6 Cam for that matter.
It wasn't until the end of October, early November that I actually started to feel somewhat comfortable with him standing in the pocket to throw.
Let's not forget that Gus benched him in the Clemson game because of his decision making in the passing game. So he covered a lot of ground between game 4 and 14.
this is the point where I expect SFC to chime in.
Is this a new beat hack? Don't recognize that name (nor can I say it). He must not care about the well being of his life and/or property if he decides to keep writing stories like this one:
http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/sports/college/sec/auburn-university/war-eagle-extra/article83993887.html
he's a douchebag yankee. Send him back to Michigan.
Looks like you'll have to take your flag down, MJT: http://thefrontporch.org/2016/06/southern-baptist-repudiation-of-confederate-flag-is-a-seminal-moment/
Talk about doubling down!!
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/wolf-bear-bait-joanne-barnaby-nwt-1.3636604
I love that the SBC is doing that bubbs... though some people I really love (who aren't racist at all) are really upset about it on Facebook. Complicated issue, lots of ins and outs
I think it's the right thing for them to do. There are many that are deeply wounded by that flag. (Whether or not they should be is rather moot). In the grand scheme of things (read - the gospel), this is such a minor thing. It's a symbol of trivial worth. It should be easy to let go of it, even if it's just for the sake of your brother (ICor 8).
"Your music is righteous, brothers." And the name stuck.
I think E-Bro has a problem with at least one of those guys.
Ebro is a troublemaker.
I just got a "select all images with a Bus" test to prove I'm not a robot. That was new. Glad they are shaking things up a bit down there. It's usually geographical features or food.
did you select the Gus Bus?
Gus Bus was not one of the buses available for selection, unfortunately. Otherwise I definitely would have.
Maybe Gus is more of a locomotive guy these days. An Express, if you will.
ALL ABOOOOOAAAAAARD!!!!
Searching for the phrase "Rollison Express" on google yields a thread good old jhag started on another website:
http://www.secrant.com/rant/sec-football/rollison-express/14280730/
The fifth result down was for this website.
Good ole Tyrik.
A legend in his own mind. And Eddie's.
Re: E-Bro's 1:13pm post...
Locomotive? I think this more closely resembles the Gus Bus.
439 days until kickoff 2017... and Penguins are still Stanley Cup Champions!
GO TIGERS!
WARRRRRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
This makes for a complicated prognostication.
THT said the Pens didn't have a chance: They won
E-Bro/MJT said the Cavs didn't have a chance: They won
THT says AU doesn't have a chance, but Ebro/MJT are optimistic: That splits right? 6-6 season?
It's not like I think we're going to lose every game. I don't see us finishing any worse that 4-8. We'll need to spring an upset or two for 6-6. However, the fact that the media thinks we're going to stink certainly justifies E-Bro/MJT's optimism.
I was happy as a clam last night. Loved seeing Cleveland win.
As far as prognostications, mine was spot on, it's just I didn't take into account the possibility that Golden State's record setting offense would completely fall apart, including Steph becoming human and Harrison Barnes becoming the NBA equivalent of Jeremy Johnson. So if you are looking for a parallel in AU prognostications, I think THT is forgetting to take into account that the rest of the SEC is about to fall apart.
I said that I thought Cleveland wouldn't get swept...and they didn't.
Watched series 2 of Detectorists on Friday night. I'll prognosticate and say there won't be a series 3.
So they detected what they were trying to detect and there's nothing left to detect?
series 2 ended with one of them finding a real cool treasure followed by all of them doing the almost mythical detectorists' happy dance and then one deciding to take an archeology job in Botswana. I find it hard to believe they can have a series with one in England and one in Botswana. Plus, with the happy dance, they've jumped the shark as far as detectoring goes.
I wonder how this thread is going to end. It's not nearly as good as it used to be, but I am still interested to see what happens to the characters.
I refuse to read THT's spoiler post.
Looking back at a recruiting class:
https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/stock-returns-revisiting-auburns-2012-signing-class
I would say that's a pretty fair assessment. It is sad that 44% of the class was kicked or left early. In some ways that seems to characterize CGC's tenure as a whole. He couldn't seem to figure out how to develop/shape the players he got.
This seems like something MJT would have been involved in back in the day:
http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2016/06/firefighters_rescue_alabama_te.html
So there's a trailer for NASA's upcoming Juno Mission to Jupiter that both excites me and makes me laugh a little with its unintentional comedy. That music is quite foreboding. Especially like the guy talking about RAD. Feel like he's channeling Yoda when he's telling Luke that he will be afraid. He will be.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2fknqVk2yk
He couldn't seem to figure out how to develop/shape the players he got.
bubbs with the past tense like he's time-traveled to December 2016.
MJT, this thread will get hijacked by Feng and pamella and Osse. They'll dissertate with reckless abandon and then Feng will take job as professional snuggler, offering serious competition to Jacqueline. pamella, unable to overcome her phobia of cave Astyanax mexicanus, goes to Amsterdam to fulfill her lifelong passion as a bike digger/fisher.
oh... I forgot to mention... spoiler alert
@THT
Now that I think about it, you're right. CGC had nothing to do with losing that class, although, we could blame him for having some of those players as targets. Clearly, CTT and the BBQ boys were the primary culprits of that class.
THT wasn't paying attention. He was thinking CGM when reading CGC.
I have it on good authority that MJT is the Huntsville liaison for AU baseball coach Butch Thompson. MJT is apparently doing a fine job
Speaking of baseball, this is pretty cool: http://www.nber.org/digest/jun16/w22026.html
Don't think I've ever heard (or maybe I just forgot) about those stats. Puts a different spin on the saying "tough act to follow."
THT, I indeed have done a lot of good work hard work as the Huntsville Bagman, but I would be nothing without my team, which consists of Feng and pamella and Osse.
MJT, I think you're going to have to loan Feng, pamella, and Osse to the UK. They are going to need extraordinary expertise to properly dissertate their EU exit. Mercy.
I'm still trying to figure out what Brexit means. I know what it IS, but I don't understand all the ramifications.
All the reading I've done so far makes it sound foreboding.
I did find some dark humor in Trump congratulating Scotland on the vote. Like, dude, they're already talking about voting to leave the UK and get back in the EU. They leaned heavily towards the "stay" vote. Of course the jokes on us. I'm beginning to think Trump is going to win. Lord, grant us mercy.
(I should note that my distaste for Trump is not an endorsement for Hillary. She's a different web of troubles, but troubles none the less.)
I never cease to be amazed at Trump's inability to speak intelligently. Somebody needs to make him stick to a script, one not written by himself. MJT, can you subcontract Feng, pamella, and Osse for that purpose?
oh my. I can't imagine what the Dems will counter this with.
LET THE MUD SLINGING BEGIN!!!
@patroclus Boaty McBoatface was the canary in the coalmine. We totally should have cancelled the referendum at that point.
That's a really polished website right there. I think for inspiration the web designer probably focused on conspiracy themed 90s geocities/angelfire websites.
Can one of you sign up and report back to us the 9 other legendary lies? I think you might have access to it if you already have a Rivals account.
Sorry, michael, I tried but I stopped before forking over the required $10,000 they tried to make me donate after I entered a fake email address emchezuno@gotmail.com
That's only $1,111.11 per lie! (well, the first lie will cost you $1,111.12).
What a deal!
LOL. I thought THT was joking, but they really do force you to donate money to progress to the rest of the lies!
Softball commit. Rated (by this place) as the #1 recruit in the nation!
http://www.flosoftball.com/article/42937-taylon-snow-commits-to-auburn
My parents' house got struck by lightning for the second time yesterday. Last time was in 1989. Auburn won the SEC that year (or at least a share), so, you know...omens.
Did they sing this song after it struck again?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyRqdzF8swY
Could be a decent series:
http://auburn.247sports.com/Bolt/Auburn-adds-marquee-series-in-2021-2022-45996598
Wonder who the coaches will be at that point.
Looks like GusCo was already thinking about how to replace Roc before he bailed.
http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/auburn-football/auburn-gains-commit-possible-immediate-impact-player-late-addition-2016-recruiting-class/
I would say that's a wash at worst, and possibly an upgrade. Although, dividends may be a year delayed due to his youth.
MJT...no, but now I'm imagining a Mad Men style scene where cameras pan away from my parents standing in the rain, watching their house burn (the house didn't burn down), while that song plays in the background and eventually the credits roll, making you laugh at the bleakness of it all.
on the road all day yesterday, but I didn't turn any page.
I'm guessing our HC vs PSU will be Tucker Tuberville. ;-)
It has to be a good Auburn man.
Then that settles it. Monica will be our HC in 2021.
It has to be a good Auburn Man who is skilled at developing and nurturing grit.
John Wayne would have made a great Auburn Man.
It appears that Marcello finally passed his "Homer" exam and is now a card carrying member. How about that?
https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/5-reasons-why-auburn-will-end-clemsons-national-championship-hopes
or maybe his employer doesn't require random drug screening
"Sound can exacerbate the effects of heat, leading to further disorientation for visitors"
Fortunately the home team will wear ear plugs, totally negating the heat intensifying properties of crowd noise.
at home during the summer we decrease our AC/electric bill and maintain our wits with sign language.
We wear finger pillows to keep the sound of typing quieter.
this is kind of interesting
That's cool, THT.
What I don't understand is why they all chose to go to Topeka.
Pretty sure that's Kansas City. The only logical answer is: BBQ
Sure, it's not the definitive BBQ, but I guess their marketing is better.
Folks from India are taking a very strange route to get here.
Looks like the Indians are taking advantage of some superfast polar vortex tailwind. If they time it better they could probably get spit out in Hawaii.
The solution to slow down the rate of immigration is obvious from this map. World war.
Trump has taken your solution under advisement, THT.
So what I take from this is that Shug is to blame for our inability to keep a steady, top shelf program:
https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/17-seasons-auburn-proved-the-experts-wrong
I think Shug learned that from his head coach at AU. I don't blame Shug for anything at all bad.
Shug was the consummate Auburn man and grit nurturer.
So it's "Dutch" Voyles fault?
It's official. Today, MrsTHT signed up for the Wales thing. Alaska is not in our plans this year, bubbs.
bubbs, that would be Chet Wynne.
Dang it, THT!
Have to admit, when the GBP crashed after the Brexit ... I knew. I knew.
I think we are all living the dream after reading this
'Living a dream:' Leff battling for right tackle job
http://auburn.247sports.com/Article/Living-a-dream-Leff-battling-for-right-tackle-job-46025380
I was really looking forward to the sloppy joe I brought for lunch. It was very good. All of a sudden it was gone and I realized there wouldn't be another bite. Mild depression set in. Then I thought about going to the store for a nutty buddy. Everything is going to be OK after all.
I'm confused. Did you get the nutty buddy or did you think your way out of mild depression?
You can't think your way out of depression, E-Bro. You have to take vitamins (it just so happens a nutty buddy is stuffed full of vitamins).
I've definitely had the unexpected-end-of-delicious-food terror before. It often happens when I'm focused on my computer screen while eating, thus not paying as much attention to the remaining food as I should be. You got to be disciplined and look your food in the eye. You have to savor that last bite, otherwise what's the point of anything?
I can't believe Leff might actually let Malzahn start him this year. Really getting harder and harder to see how we lose a game.
It's a tough mental task, MJT, but just imagine us scoring fewer points than one of the other teams.
Look, I have a GREAT imagination. It's almost as great as my palate. But even with this wonderful imagination, I cannot see Auburn losing a game. All Leff has to do is run backwards, steal the ball from our QB, and gallop on his traction-y feet over the crushed skulls of AU's opponents into the endzone any time he would like to have a touchdown. Auburn may average 300 points a game.
Leff spelled backwards, and translated into Croatian, spells Grit.
Leff sounds like the cheat code from John Elway's Quarterback.
Did ehyou ever make it back with his nutty buddy?
I think his name is Gunnar. I believe they went fishing.
Game changing theory: ehyou didn't go to the store to buy a Little Debbie Nutty Buddy. He went to the store as a favor to his "nutty" buddy, who happens to be Leff. The store was in Alaska and Leff insisted ehyou's mode of transportation be a pogo stick. So we might not here from ehyou for awhile.
I think GREAT imaginations are poorly timed.
bubbs, looks like you've missed out twice now on a trip to Alaska. I bet ehyou could make the trip twice as fast if you were on the other side of the pogo stick. If you drive fast, you could probably catch up with him where Kendrick Road crosses the Chamber Creek Drainage Ditch
I wrote "here" when I meant "hear" and I'm not sure I'll ever get over it.
Will I ever make it to Alaska? Why is the world conspiring against me so?
Seems like a mute point now, MJT.
I like Alaskan malamutes.
They're over dressed for our neck of the woods, THT.
Good news!
http://auburn.247sports.com/Bolt/Surprise-enrollee-for-Tigers-46046273
I wonder how Brodarious orchestrated the surprise? I'll bet he got a friend to trick the coaches and the enrollment staffers to walk into the admissions building under false pretenses, and then they walked into a room with the lights out and were like "what's going on?" and then Brodarious had a friend turn the light on and he yelled "SURPRISE!!!" and then quickly signed the enrollment papers.
I think he showed up wearing this and everyone was asking for his autograph and asking what Adam Sandler is really like.
Ok, maybe he was wearing this
So you think he was wearing the this very comment section, THT? That WOULD be a surprise!
I once printed out this comment section and wore it to a costume party. It really bombed. no one even took the time to read the comments. I hope Brodarious had better luck.
I'm torn on what to call him: "Bro" or "B-Ham"
Both could be confusing, which makes them great choices.
Just to be safe, perhaps you should call him Mr. Hamm.
You sure that's safe?
https://img0.etsystatic.com/067/0/6290452/il_570xN.773178972_ip4z.jpg
well, it's safer than taking a jetski over Niagara Falls.
No kidding. I bet that jet ski was in the shop for weeks.
Thanks a lot, THT. I just wasted 20 minutes watching scary waterfall videos on youtube. I GOT STUFF TO DO, MAN!
Welcome to Day 1 of NHL Free Agency. The fun begins at 12 noon EDT.
Penguins have no salary cap space, plus most everyone is still under contract, so they will be watching from rinkside today... with the possible exception of soon to be 40 yo Matt Cullen, who had a great 1st season with the Pens. Does he want to stay in Pittsburgh? Or does he want to chase a few more $ elsewhere?
If I was Matt, I'd chase the money. He's a part of a cup team and doesn't have much time left. Get a few extra dollars before going out.
I think I've eaten a tomato sammich every day for the past few weeks. My garden has been pumping them out, and I'm loving it. FYI - Cherokee Purple is my favorite variety that I grew this year. Low acidity makes them sweet and perfect for the tang of Duke's.
None of our tomatoes are ready yet. But we gots cucumbers, squash, and zucchini (as if anyone cares about any of that stuff).
My wife planted a bunch of roma tomato plants, and I was like, what the heck? Who cares about those? So I planted some beefsteak and brandywine 'maters in late May. Still gonna be awhile before I get to eat any of them.
I'll use the cucumbers as garnish in a Pimm's Cup if you want to give me any.
I can't grow hair, much less tomatoes
map of the day
undoubtedly, map #43 in the atlas
I would give you some 'maters when you swing through on our Alaska trip but ... I guess that's not happening :(
MJT, I planted pretty early. I had plants in the ground by mid-late March. Although, it seemed like I had green tomatoes for about a month before they started ripening. I would like to try some Brandywine. I have a Betterboy and Beafsteak-like varieties. They eat good, but they're nothing like those Cherokee Purples. And, yeah, all the squash and cukes are filler. Peppers are okay, but tomatoes are the stars of the summer garden.
I plan on having seeds in the ground for the fall crop by the end of the month. I want greens (turnip/mustard), broccoli, butternut squash and pumpkins.
btw, how 'bout them Chanticleers!
Hey, if we aren't gonna win a natty, I'm all about someone like them getting it.
Appalachian State for College Football Playoff Champions in 2016!
Gus is all about some JUCO.
https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/nations-top-junior-college-receiver-commits-to-auburn
It's getting to the point where I am feeling bad for all these good receivers committing to Auburn. Do they just not do their research?
See what I mean?
https://www.seccountry.com/sec/how-many-300-yard-passing-games-has-each-sec-team-produced-in-the-last-4-years
Yeah, it's a bit perplexing. Maybe they're selling it like, "We've never had a consistent passing game because we've lacked productive receivers. If you come to Auburn, you can be the go to guy."
Maybe? I dunno.
The crazy thing about that list (to me) is how high MS is. But I suppose Mullen is a "spread" guy. I just never think of them like that.
It's like a macabre version of "Where's Waldo"
http://spotthedrowningchild.com/
I actually feel like I just got edumacated on finding the drowner. After a few, you learn to look for the "jumping jack arms" splashing. Every one of them did that.
I've always been cautious of the kids and swimming. They can all swim now, but when they were younger it was tough. There's 4 of them. And moms "multi-task" at the pool just like everywhere else. Not to mention we've been at parties where kids had to get yanked out because they were drowning. So when they were at someone's house with a pool it was a little nerve racking.
Having said all that, I could have used that link several years ago!
it's not blue-footed, but it's a rare sighting in NC
From the picture, it looks like it came to NC to poop.
repeatedly. And then stand in it. I'm not so sure they haven't misidentified it. Looks like a dodo bird to me.
What's up, guys?
I think Gus is a tad low on this rating. Not too sure he can keep his job without getting more wins than last year.
http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/2016-hot-seat-rankings-evaluating-all-128-college-football-coaches-job-security/
but JJ says Gus is our coach forever and ever, amen.
I think Dennis was excluded from that email. I'm sure that if he knew that, he would have given Gus a 0% chance of being fired.
I thought it was a Press Release. I'm sure Dennis got it.
So. The FBI "clears" Hillary but not without some pretty rough language (careless). Trump gives the Saddam regime a thumbs up ... Is this not one of the strangest elections ever? Certainly the weirdest Rep/Dem noms in my life time.
Weren't you a history major, E-Bro? How far back do we need to go to get to a less believable presidential election cycle?
The Election campaign of 1800 got pretty nasty.
http://mentalfloss.com/article/12487/adams-vs-jefferson-birth-negative-campaigning-us
at least the choices in 1800 were not completely vile and disgusting. I'm going to vote for strange women lying in ponds.
The point is there have probably been plenty other bizarre campaign cycles throughout much of American history, and with far less palatable candidates than Adams and Jefferson.
I know how you feel about Lincoln, THT, but he didn't even appear on the ballot in Southern states. The history of US election campaign cycles is strange indeed.
The 1879 election was crazy. America almost elected a marmot to the office of President.
We put a cat in office instead. Not sure which is better.
I built a helicopter for Harrison's cat one time. He wasn't the president, though.
I have to say, MJT, I still enjoy watching your Copter-a-Cat infomercials late at night. It's a big hit with the kids.
The 'copter was an even bigger hit with the pavement!
Cats aren't big fans, though.
LOLZ. The "landings" are the best part of the infomercial.
I am interested to see how different the offense looks this year. Although, the spring game sure seemed like a rehash of 2015.
https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/auburns-odd-couple-gus-malzahn-herb-hand-personalities-differ-philosophies-same
I've been a fan of marmots since 1971. I'd never vote for a cat, unless it was an AUBURN TIGER!
All the stores are closed today for Irony Day Eve. I just realized I could still shop on Amazon. They are so un-Eurasian. I can't wait to sit in the mall tomorrow to observe all the wildness that is Irony Day Shopping Frenzy.
Michael said It's getting to the point where I am feeling bad for all these good receivers committing to Auburn. Do they just not do their research?

To which our JUCO WR commit replied
After meeting with my family and coaches I am decommiting from Auburn to focus on academics and football
I hacked his phone and found the first draft of his tweet before he edited it:
"After reading HABOTN, I learned that I made a HUGE mistake."
Way to go, michael.
I didn't realize a "commitment" could be so distracting from academics and football.
Weak minds think alike, THT. I saw that news yesterday and the same thoughts ran through my mind.
My response: LOLZ. We don't even use you receiver types anyway! Smell you later bruh!
If it was a blue chip LB, I'd prolly just cry.
I can now highly recommend Mozelle's in Winston-Salem. Had dinner with friends there last night and it was sooooooooo yummy.
I've heard they committed to putting onions in every dish. So that's cool.
Tomorrow the sun has already been up in Anadyr for 3 hours and, according to FoxNews, their Irony Day celebration is well under way. The Miss Icosahedrite pageant always draws a huge crowd, especially now that the seal parka competition has been replaced with an electron diffraction dance competition.
You know, I initially almost put my original comment on the 4* receiver on Twitter, but then I was scared he would read it and have second thoughts (because you know these kids probably search themselves on Twitter all day. That's probably what I would have done, at least).
Lo and behold, he is apparently a lurker here. I wonder if he knows how to write a dissertation?
THT, I don't understand anything about your last post, but it is clearly in the spirit of Irony Day, which makes it great.
Seems like he used a reverse Madlibs app. He put in a couple sentences and let the app choose what to put in the blanks.
If there isn't something like that out there, we should make one.
Step 1: Google maps for eastern Eurasian town.
Step 2: Google sunrise + name of town
Step 3: Read wikipedia entry for town, noting discovery of naturally occurring quasicrystal in that area.
Step 4: Reach the logical conclusion that they celebrate Irony Day and their quasicrystals simultaneously since they have a limited autonomous okrug budget, most of which undoubtedly has been embezzled by the local political leaders.
Nah, that makes sense. I don't believe that's what happened, THT.
Vegas is rarely way off base.... https://www.seccountry.com/auburn/auburn-favored-in-2-sec-games-according-to-golden-nuggets-early-betting-lines
bubbs, you sure are paying an awful lot of attention to the non-existing upcoming season.
421 days until 2017 kickoff!
WARRRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
perfect storm left me with the work duties of 3 people this afternoon. MrsTHT says I can fish all day in the Crimea River and I won't catch anything.
Happy (6th?) Irony Day to all the Eurasian Hotties. I have yet to see the Irony Gnome.
I will be in Boston working on a film for four months called "Chappaquiddick", who wants to guess what it is about?
Native American history?
a giant shark?
improvised submersibles?
Irony Gnome didn't show up anywhere for Irony Day this year. I heard he joined a monastery. Not really sure what the heck is going on.
hey you guys who aren't on facebook are really missing out. My entire feed is filled with videos of white people saying they're sorry whites are racist and videos of black people who are against black lives matter.
Weird. Only thing showing up on my Facebook is posts on that group SFC created.
The only thing on my imaginary FB feed is an update from Harrison and his cats.
I think it would be ironic if the Irony Gnome joined a convent. Well, it might not be that ironic since gnome is most certainly the feminine noun for the male equivalent "gnom". Well, maybe not equivalent. I mean, how could something feminine be equivalent. I feel like Donald Trump behind this keyboard. I think I'm going to vomit.
What are you learning from those posts?
look what you made me do, THT. Do you see what you made me do?!
Michael, I bet you feel like ArtVanDelay sitting behind that keyboard.
Ooohfff, nice one Michael
