MGM-AUB gas report
As someone who doesn't earn a ton of money -- and fetches a remarkably low mileage reimbursement -- I have been monitoring the gas-price situation pretty carefully.
So I'm going to start a recurring feature we're going to call: The MGM-AUB gas report.
Why do you care? I don't know. I share because I care.
Raceway (Montgomery, exit 6) -- 3.47
Liberty (Montgomery, exit 11) -- 3.49
BP (Waugh, exit 16) -- 3.49
Petro: 2 (Shorter, exit 22) -- 3.56
Torch 85 (exit 42) -- 3.69
Raceway (Auburn, exit 51) -- 3.53
Spectrum (Auburn, Wire & University) -- 3.49: down four cents
THANKS to Brandon for providing updated information on the Auburn Raceway price. The HOTTIES are watchdogs as well.

If you are not getting reimbursed at the IRS established mileage reimbursement rate, you should deduct the difference on your personal tax return as a business expense. i.e. If you get reimbursed $0.30 per mile from your employer, you should be able to deduct $0.285 per mile on your personal tax return as unreimbursed business expenses.
a.) I do that.
b.) I'd love .30 per mile.
c.) Gas costs money now ... and it's frustrating to wait until February to get the money.
Thanks for lookin' out, though!
JGT, I commute to AU from the Gump every day as well.
Sam's off Exit 6 is usually cheap as well.
Drove to Greensboro the other day and the Easly, SC Raceway had 3.38. I think its the lowest in the nation.
Low Mileage reimubsement rates stinks for those who cant itemize deductions, becasue they basiaclly lose it (I'm a C.P.A). My brother worked for a company and they didnt reimburse becasue they said "Just do it on your tax return", guess they didnt care at the end of the day some people were paying for their own gas incurred on Company time.
Sam's requires a membership that I don't have. I'd welcome adding it to The List...
Yall have great prices....They stink in atlanta since we have a "summer formula" 3.69/ga. Ugh...The only bright spot to football season, besides how good auburn is going to be, is the Raceway at the Opelika/Hurtsboro exit....usually super cheap.
Raceway in Auburn was 3.53 this morning. And, the QV off the Sam's exit is usually cheaper. Seems to get closer as you get to Opelika. Sounds familiar.
What is everyones thoughts on Gabe moving to DE. Think he can have an impact in the next two years?
I don't know, does moving to DE save him some gas?!?
