Fourth quarter

AUBURN 24, USM 13: Nelson scores on a 17-yard pass from Davis. That capped a 90-yard drive. And, yes, that was against the Tigers' top defense. Auburn's attack probably needs to achieve something here to curb overall anxiety.

AUBURN 27, USM 13: Byrun hits a 23-yard FG to cap a 70-yard drive. It's timely. The Tigers' offense has tailed off during the second half.
  • Wow. The rain is really coming down. I haven't ever seen rain this hard at J-H. Unreal.

THROUGH THREE QUARTERS
Total offense
AUBURN: 313 yards (78 run, 235 pass)
USM: 145 yards (24 run, 121 pass)

Just breaking the news now ... there will be no video today.

I left the camera on this whole time and it's ... not happy.

Sorry. I'll learn from this.

We will have to decide if we are going to unleash more defensive schemes, put them on film and stop the score or try to outman them. oops...too late...did neither.

Todd's the QB. Settled.

Later, guys.

I've always thought that if all things were equal, Todd should lay more at the beginning of the year and teach Kodi to run the O like Todd. Develop and protect Kodi for the big games to come.

Wow. Jerraud Powers laid out for the pick.
Best catch of the day goes to Mr. Powers.

Interception by Powers on a bad pass with 5 min. left. I hope they give Kodi more chances. I'm out.

I'm digging the band's rendition of Green Day's song 'Holiday'

So how does USM have two receivers like Brown and Nelson. Those guys are studs and we need some of those kinds of guys.

Chris Todd made decent decisions. He had to crow hop to throw the ball 30 yards which was concerning, but nothing we haven't seen before with the previous no. 12. I wish Burns would have gotten more of a chance.

Brown couldn't get into Auburn or Alabama. It's as simple as that.

That's a tidy way to wrap it up, crudup.
