Hey everyone. I just watched one of the most surreal moments of my entire career.
Tony Franklin just packed up his office, loaded his SUV in front of the football offices and hit the road. Right there. Right now. The team is out back practicing right now.
He said he might have something to say tomorrow. Or maybe not.
Asked to describe "the best part of being at Auburn," Franklin said: "No comment."
Awesome.

Reminds me of the walk out of the athletic complex by Wimp Sanderson at UA. Sad and interesting at the same time....

Since it will take so long to recover from this anyway, I say to completely start over (meaning from the top). Tubs is a good CEO but has no understanding about offensive football.

Where does Auburn go now? Jay, any idea who might be calling the plays on Satuday? This really stinks for Auburn and for Franklin. I feel for the guy, I do not think he was ever given a true chance.

well we move on with a game plan, what do you think it will be? how will be the primary play caller? do you tihnk that will have a run play caller and then a pass play caller?

Lane Kiffin? I wouldn't wish it on the poor guy. Who in their right mind would trade one dysfunctional situation for another?
Tubs dresses better than Al Davis (at least wears clothes from the current century).
The video was like a car wreck, you shouldnt look but you do, I hated Franklin as a coach, but it was very sad watching the video, the man should have been able to leave with his dignity.
