First post: Saturday
Hey everyone. Sorry I was incredibly late with the Neil Caudle news last night. The Advertiser needs me to cover high school games, or take call-ins, because that's the reality of our staffing situation. You're probably dealing with similar issues at your workplace.
This is The Last Saturday Before Football Season, which is cool.
We'll soon have more substance to our analysis. Being able to see players play makes for better stories. Or maybe not. Jan Terri didn't have to see goblins to perform the best Halloween song of all time.
In case you were wondering, it's "Get Down Goblin."
Here's the Auburn situation at this moment:

24 Comments:
As usual, I post right when Jay puts up a new thread. From the last thread:
This time next week, I'll be strolling the loveliest village on the Plains with all of my friends! It's time to get the game face on!
THT glad your wife arrived safely. My boss travels all the time, and he said Italy is one of his favorites places.
Jet, I hope your wife is better soon. I don't know anyone who has ever been bitten by a brown recluse, but I do know the effects. Those bites, and staph, are both nasty stuff. If it is a bite, does she know where she got it?
And I was number one with some substance!
Nice job, Kathy!
Way to go, Kathy!
The women have taken over the blog!!
These story lists are getting too long.
I'll trim the list tomorrow.
The gals are in command!
The article about Chris Todd fires me up!!
Cincy, I read in a prior blog that you were looking for some work. Feel free to come clean our house anytime. We hate housework!!
Jay, enjoy your last Saturday off! My husband and I worked all last weekend working our "Honey Do" list, because he knows I'll be in Auburn the 4 Saturdays in September! He is the "football widow" in our family.
BTW, Jay G, your daughter is adorable!
Aren't the ladies always in control? At least in some way.
Your husband doesn't like football, Kathy?
D. Miller, did you see my post on the previous thread about the wedding?
Nah, Luv, I really don't want any work. I just throw that out there every once in awhile to make me feel less guilty about not working.
Who am I kidding? I don't feel guilty - I love it!
cincy - more email
we're about to run a bunch of errands
I must go run one myself before I have to start getting ready for the wedding.
War Eagle, Hotties!
Luv, my husband is a fan of the "evil-side". I call him a "fair weather" fan because he just recently regained interest, like some other family members. He does not buy season tickets, so he babysits the grandkids and watches from home. Both of my girls are Auburn fans. The grandkids are Auburn fans; however, if they don't go to Auburn with their mom and dad, they stay home with Pops. If they are home with Pops, he dresses them in Alabama gear for the day, and they watch the game with him. It's the only Alabama gear they have. All the other time they wear Auburn.

Thanks, Luv!
somehow that 1234 post doesn't look right in CDT
Yes, luv. I saw. She's better friends with my wife than she is me and my wife would rather attend the wedding than the game (silly, I know). But, wifey holds certain powers over me and has invoked them for this particular event.
