Hey everyone. I will be doing my weekly segment on SuperSport 930 out of Jackson, Miss., in a bit. That extravaganza will begin around 9:05 a.m. CST.

We'll be talkin' Auburn, the movie "Doubt" and other stuff. You know how it goes.

I pretty much believe you can get a decent room outside the parks on Dec 30th & Dec 31st for around 60-70 on priceline. It's only a couple hours drive from Disney to Tampa, so I'm trying to convince the wife to get up early New Years day and head to the game and then home. We shall see. Hoover given a TD in the 1st half even though the RB fumbled going intot he endzone, and he never crossed the goal line with the ball.

Now Prattville sacks the Hoover QB and fumbles and Prattville picks it up and runs it in for a TD, the ref says he was throwing the ball and it was an incompletion. Not even close to a throw according to the replay.

He was let go with everyone else when TUbbs was fired. the next day Jacobs approached him to stay on. Him, Jim Perry, Lolley were the only coaches. They went out to talk to recruits. Jacobs asked Willis for the severance check back since he was still on staff. Willis said you fired me, it is mine. Willis needed to money also. He was not getting paid much at the time. He and Jacobs got into a pissing match. He spoke with Muschamp and Tubbs. They both called Saban. Saban hired him.; 9:59 PM
wtc said...: As far as recruiting, he is working the areas that Saban works anyway, so I can't say he is doing that well. He was working those areas when he was at AU, but he lost out on eveyone he went head to head with Saban on. So he didn't do much for AU the last few years.; 10:02 PM

Tar Heel Tiger said...: finished 2 hours of Monk and an hour of white collar, then took Molly out (where we got to see Daisy and Annie) and came in and had our bowls of ice cream with Hershey's chocolate syrup. Molly immediately passed out in the bed. Then I got depressed reading about yet another Lebo loss. I think I'll go to bed early. The Wisconsin game doesn't kick off until 11 pm tomorrow, so it will be a very long day.

Lots of people hate him but if he was on my team, I would be in the parade with him, if not out front. Unfortunately, the media will try to find a way to tear him down in the long run.

Rmemeber the USC QB named Marinovich? Dad coached him, he never ate junk food (ever) and even said so in an interview with 6 0 minutes. He was never allowed to eat anything unhealthy. Gets drafted to the NFL, gets arrested for smoking dope.
Media built him up, he allowed it to happen and probably flamed it, gets in trouble and the media is there to bring him down.
