I don't expect you to be sympathetic. Auburn fans and (our few resident) Alabama sympathists have this in common: Feeling at least moderate disdain toward UT. Next coach at UT? Thoughts?

today has already been a blast. a co-worker was out to dinner last nite with a local h.s. head fb coach. this coach was on the phone with Kippi Brown when he got the call he was the interim head-coach. absolute madness.
and i'm lovin' every minute of it. :)
I just heard the news while driving to work this morning.. This is mind boggling!!
But if it is his Dream Job, can't fault him for going - don't ever think I heard him say UT was the job of his dreams. Plus, he is a left coast guy.
I just went to wikipedia to learn more about Kiffin. He got his degree in Leisure Service Management. What the heck is that??
On a different note, am I the only one that can't wait to see The Chiz, Trooper, Looper, and Co. recruit against Tubby and Willis in Texas and Louisiana???
All those that called Tubby a great recruiter will be in for a shocker...

Why would the recruits want to follow a guy who just ditched them to the opposite side of the country? I am assuming the recruits were not consulted in this decision.
I imagine once we stop giggling from all the ridiculousness that is Hello Kiffin that there is a likelihood that Tennessee will hire a better coach than Kiffin.
Even so, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Wake, I guess it depends on what kind of "promises" he makes to them if they do follow him...
Eddie-Copncerning contacting the UT recruits, isn't this a dead period that coincides with the coaching convention in Orlando. I thinkthe dead period lasts through Thursday. (not 100% sure though)
This is almost as fun as beating Texas.... Almost.
According to my mom, AU contacted one kid about coming to AU but he is not coming.
AU is sticking with who they want now. It is too late in the game for AU. Look for Lattimore, Mack, Whittaker, Thornton or Jones and maybe Swilling as a DB. That is all we have room for unless someone defects or does not qualify, which seems unlikely at this time.
Also to change a post fromlast night, once the HS kid attends a class he belongs to the program. If he left, he would have to sit out.
