Projecting the 2009 football roster
Hey everyone. So a few weeks ago, we reviewed the Tigers' 2008-09 scholarship allocations to get our bearings. It proved helpful in some ways.
Let's take it one step beyond that. Below find what I expect to be Auburn's 2009-2010 allocation chart. This should give you a better feel for where Gene Chizik has leigitmate depth and where The Holes may lie.
It'll be obvious.
For this exercise, I'm assuming the signees will qualify. A few of them won't, of course, but it's pointless for me to alter numbers based on academic projections.
GREEN = newcomer

Still, nobody explains why they call themselves the Keltics and not the Seltics.
or visa versa
So anyone else getting up at 5 am to go to work tomorrow?
not me
Well being the thread slower upper that I am. I bid you all a wonderful evening. Have a good night one and only Monica.
sweet dreams, mytommy
Just wanted to pop in and say hey before I got to bed hotties. Had to get my Mon Diesel fix right quick.
Bedtime for Bonzo.
i got to see coach chizik's canned speech tonight @ mobile/baldwin co. AU club meeting. it was about what i expected. he seems a lot like $aban in his expectations of his assistants both in recruiting and as coaches and the fact he has a clear plan he wants to execute. he differs in that he is going to recruit hard without escalades, chargers and brown bags of $100s. i can tell he is all business and really doesn't have time for speeches but he makes time because he knows how important it is to the fans...me likey...
it was also quite a departure from tub's AU club meetings. tub's was definitely the friendlier more polished public speaker and took questions from the audience. he said he wants to win now, but chizik did not sugarcoat the fact that rough times may be ahead next year and emphasized that the players will give 200% no matter what and represent AU with class.
btw, a pox on bama!

Good morning, Hotties! It's Hump Day!
What's on the playlist this morning, TarHeel?
Good morning everyone..Happy birthday Jay!!
Morning Hotties - Happy Birthday to our gracious host.
I enjoyed reading the continuing Willie discussion which carried on without me through the night.
mrtommyd - I get up by 5 to do my running then I'm at the office in the 7 timeframe.
I third the Happy Birthday to Jay. Hope it's a good one.
Happy Birthday JGT. Hope you have a great one, and a great year without any furloughs whatsoever.
For all your efforts and hard work I want to embrace you like Bynes is embracing Crompton in that pic on front page.
Figuratively speaking, that is.
A very happy, happy to Jay G.
Your present from the Hotties -- a few special heads on sticks -- will be planted in your yard later today.
Good morning!!!
If it's JGT's b-day, then I wish him a fine one.
Happiest of birthdays Mr Jay G Tate!
Norm you are MUCH more dedicated than I
Chip Chip - thanks for the recap. Is it too early to start getting hyped for football?
It is impossible for a player to give 200%. I need to teach Chizik some basic math skills.
And Happy Birthday, Jay.
Michael- Actually all Auburn football players are able to split into two individual players when playing for us therefore making the 200% Chizik guarentee's correct.
He's using that "new" math, Michael, that they're teaching kids nowadays.
I believe Coach Chiz was misquoted. He said when you watch the game films of last year, you'll want some 200 proof.
Happy Birthday, JGT! Hope your day is full of love, laugher, and Pulitzer prize winning leads.
How does everyone know it's Jay G's b-day??
Luv...
One person said it first this morning. I hope they were right.
Luv - Facebook.
Well, that's probably how alot of people know. As for me, it's because of my incredible intellect and powers of perception.
Luv ...
Don't let GaTiger/Norm fool you, he got copies of Jay G's birth certificate, Social Security card, and his credit cards.
I thought it was the furloughs that made JGT broke now I know it is gatiger running up those bills
Where is THT?
Best wishes on your birthday JGT
Hope you have many more very happy ones.
Jet - I've had all of that same info on you for years. Which brings to mind a question, are you renting your palace because I just don't know how you'd get a loan with that crappy credit score of yours. Oh, wait...now I get it, you're part of our national economic problem. Way to go slacker.
Hopefully all these b'day wishes for JGT will help me remember to wish my mom a happy birthday today. Happy Birthday, Jay G! Thanks for your great AU coverage!
Happy Birthday, Jay G! I hope you enjoy your day!
digger-I think tht is headed to DC or something..
ou aright he got lost in his closet last night and his wife came home and found him. Then the hit the road.
eh-of course I was right!! how dare you doubt me!!
No doubt...bad memory on my part
Eddie....Since the players can split into 2 and still give 100% each, I guess that solves our OL depth problem.
This thread is getting "Willed".
That being the case, I'm hungry so I'm going to lunch. You folks see if you can resurrect it.
New thread is UP
