Q & A with Tommy Thigpen
Hey everyone. Auburn assistant Tommy Thigpen last week sat down with the HABOTN to answer a series of questions. The primary goal was to glean more information about the Tigers' new, aggressive approach to recruited.
As often happens with Thigpen, though, we learned much more.
Thigpen is a go-to guy on technology. The Auburn staff looks to him for guidance on how to manage their social-networking responsibilities and find new ways to connect with recruits.
Here we go.

As often happens with Thigpen, though, we learned much more.
Thigpen is a go-to guy on technology. The Auburn staff looks to him for guidance on how to manage their social-networking responsibilities and find new ways to connect with recruits.
Here we go.
- On the confluence of recruiting and technology: "The technology part of recruiting puts you together. You can find out about people before you meet people. When you're first meeting someone, you want to already have some things in common. You want to have that outline of what you want to say. The internet has done that for me."
- On the biggest benefit from that enterprise: "You ask somebody: Why did you choose a place? I'm talking about the 18-year-old kids. They'll tell you "it felt right." Most people say that feeling has a lot to do with people knowing your name and feeling like they have a lot in common. That's where I come in. I know people's names, the mama's name, the uncle's name, the school teacher's name."
- On if technology can give schools an advantage: "Recruiting used to be a popularity contest. I don't think there were relationships involved. If I was coaching at a school like Southern Miss and Florida State came along and offered a scholarship, that's a wrap. Today, that's harder to do. Technology has changed that. The kid have talked to these coaches. The relationship is built. When the big schools jump in and that relationship already is built, it's a lot harder to break."
- On difficulties associated with The New Recruiting: "These guys -- especially young, African-American males -- they judge you on a lot of things. It's important that you're up on to date on all the latest fads. The internet is your best friend in that world. I can pull up Facebook and find out what he likes in music, what his hobbies are, his religious background. I look at his pictures. I find out who is closest friends are. How close is he to his mama? It's limitless. You have to keep up."
- On why his high-school teaching career ended (after one year): ``There was too much work for not enough money. Teachers have it rough. I never knew why tests were always on Friday. It was to give the teachers a break. You could have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I had a passion for teaching. I didn't have a passion for grading. If I had someone to grade my papers, I'd have been fine. It took too long. It took away from the task."
- On if Auburn "pushes the envelope" with its recruiting tactics: "There aren't any gimmicks. At the end of the day, it's still about relationships. Kids don't come because of one weekend. We get them to Auburn two times, three times, maybe four times. We try to make every experience better than the last time they were here. That's what sells you.
``If I'm Big Time Recruit A and I had a great time, I'm socially networking with another big recruit. Have you visited Auburn yet? This is why you should visit Auburn. It's easy for us to say it. When they hear it from their peers, other players they respect, the word travels. That's how we get out there." - On why he considers Mack Brown, who coached Thigpen and gave him his first college job, the most important mentor in his life: "He taught me how to talk to people. My parents made me go to Carolina because they liked how Mack talked. Mack was on the cutting edge back then because the norm was to have one minority on a staff of nine. Two was unheard of. At Carolina, we had four and sometimes five on staff.
``The African-American players, we had role models to look up to. Parents knew their kids would have someone to identify with. If you have one minority, all the (minority players) have to go to that one guy. He might not click with all those guys. Mack had it set up with four or five black coaches. Then a guy like Carl Torbush was great with everybody. It was one of the reasons I wanted to get into coaching -- it was the guys he brought in. They made me a better person. My mentors were all coaches."

D'oh, too slow!
Mr. Hand!
What are you, people? On dope?
Dude..
Learning about Cuba, having some food.
JGT.. how many times do I have to tell you..
YOu do not smoke food...
Not legally.
No substance here; it's all in JayGT's report
One of the true joys of this job is the email. Most of it is sane.
I love the people who believe I'm their personal reporter who will chase down, on command, any silly rumor they have deemed credible.
I have a guy right now wanting a full story on an invited walk-on who is expected to be in camp this fall. If I don't write the story immediately, this guy says, he'll write the story himself.
When I get the story, I'll be sure to pass it along.
So, "Charles S.," you're on the clock. We're all waiting.
Is he from Reeltown?
Could he possibly be from Reeltown?
I lose at the internets.
I know a good cook when I see one. And when you have a good cook, you don't ask for a specific menu, you eat what's put before you, knowing it will be delicious (onions and fungus excluded). JayGT, thanks for never feeding me onions and fungus.
we251 - call up Al Gore, tell him you need more bandwidth
Sorry to steal your thunder Purple Jesus Dude.
Soon as I cruise your claahhhsss, I'll be outta here, dude.
WooHoo....JayG, I didn't know you would be my personal reporter!
I like Thigpen.
I see nothing wrong with a little snack on OUR time.
Bammers = ultimate set of "tools".
Ok..who can give me the definitive word on the players that were kicked off the team?
I kid...I kid.
FSJ, I'm pretty sure Jimmy Johns will not be back.
Let's switch the domain name to www.myjaygtate.com
So, where should we send our crack reporter next?
OKay, okay, I know. He is likely to tell me where to go first:)
What do you want to know about crack?
This comment has been removed by the author.
Jay G, I'm gonna need you to have a report on PPL by tomorrow morning. Get some quotes from his cousin Tom for this story. I'm telling you, Tom is hilarious, he is really quotable. Also, I think you should try to compare PPL's falsely-kicked-off-the-team situation to the BC coaching situation. Like I said, this is due tomorrow morning.
Thanks,
Michael
Michael,
I'm on it.
Love,
Your Humble Reporter, etc.
Thanks, Jay. Also, maybe include a sidebar about PPL's favorite places to eat. And maybe a PPL themed riddle or word puzzle.
I still think there is a good story out there about people who thought the Chizik hire was idiotic and now have a man crush on him and how Jacobs may not actually be the stupidest man in America.
And I think I submitted a suggestion of a blog discussing how the SEC has won every BCSCG it has been in, and why this means every other conference sucks.
I saw something one time that said carrots aren't actually good for your eyesight. They don't do anything for your vision. So, my parents lied, I think Jay should write a story about that.
Easy, Steve.
Chizik still has an overall record of 5-19. Man crush or not, nobody yet knows if Jay Jacobs ultimately made a good hire or not.
JayGT - I'd like to see a story about 1,690: is it real, or is it fake? And if you can incorporate nanoseconds and prions into the story, I may just nominate you for a Pulitzer.
Are you trying to provoke me, THT? I have told you all you need to know about those subjects.
Um, that is only if you judge a coaches performance by wins and loses. In those terms, we won't really know until about 4 years down the road. I don't want to mention any names (TB) but there have been coaches (TB) come to Auburn (TB) and win a crap load (TB) of games at the start (TB), but get fired (TB) in less than six (TB) seasons. I try to judge coaches on the choices they make for assistant coaches and the recruiting. So far he has done excellent in my opinion.
Just shoot me.
Bang!!!
Ooooo, this is like a HABOTN mystery! Who shot Monica??!!!
Oh wait, it was obviously Steve. Nevermind.
Just Shoot Me...Maya was very cute.
Bang!!!
and very well endowed
Well, um (blushing), I wouldn't know anything about that.
Personally, I think we should just sit around and sing classic rock songs for the next 2 and a half months, or at least until fall practice starts. Who's with me?
....I met her in a club down in old soho, where you drink champagne and it tastes just like coca-cola...
Don't suppose you want to break a story on Michael Jackson passing away, would you Jay?
How much have you had to drink today Steve?
What is the origin of the word 'Pass away'?
You forgot to mention your personal scoop getters.
None. The Michael Jackson stories have just driven me insane. I was thinking maybe there is an angle that hasn't been covered, like interviewing someone who once met one of his cousins. It could provide a new perspective.
Maybe they should interview the manufacturer of the bed he used to molest kids on.
Michael, you got to admit that this is nearly as exciting as watching the OJ chase.
aero...
I don't have references handy, but I believe it is biblical is origin.
I must admit I haven't watched a single second of the Jackson coverage on TV, and I haven't looked at any stories either. I am not very interested. Of course, I was born in '82, so he has been a freak as long as I have followed pop culture, so their is not that part of me that feels like reminiscing.
Pass away:
Also, pass on or over. Die, as in He passed away last week, or After Grandma passes on we'll sell the land, or I hear he's about to pass over. All these terms are euphemisms for dying, although the verb pass alone as well as pass away have been used in the sense of "pass out of existence, die" since the 1300s. The two variants--adding on [c. 1800] and over [c. 1900]--allude to moving to some other-worldly realm.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. (Mark 13:31)
One would be hard pressed to name another entertainer that has influenced more current pop stars than Michael Jackson. He definately wrote the soundtrack to my childhood.
Steve, I would say that is more of a literal use of pass away, rather than an idiom for what happens to one's existence. Or something.
Provoke? Of course not. Just like to make sure you're paying attention.
There's a reason I'm not looking at newspapers or tv. Let's not bring MJ coverage to HABOTN.
True confession: I'll Be There is in my iTunes.
Elvis, Beatles, Stones, Zepplin, Van Halen, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Buffet. Okay, forget about Jimmy Buffet.
Chuck Berry needs to be thrown in there somewhere too.
Well, after turning on the radio in the truck, and being subjected to the most inane song of the past 30 years ... "Naughty Girls Need Love, Too" by Samantha Fox, I am personally ready for the Michael Jackson-athon.
You can hit me, and kick me, and tell me it's fair, so play it. Just play it.
I should mention Cream and the Byrds too. They actually spawned more than they produced, if that makes sense.
I'm not going to bombard you with MJ stuff. That's a promise.
I am digging the "new" Birthday Massacre live album.
Today, at the chi-chi Capital City Club, which sits arrogantly 23 stories above downtown Gump, dining among the hoi polloi today, including uber trial lawyer/Tommy Tuberville attorney/ex-Lt. Gov. Jere Beasley, who was dining at an adjacent table, was a HOTTIE.
He looked like he belonged, powerfully eating lunch, powerfully negotating, working the art of the deal.
To you, he is known as Phormerly Phred, but to me, he's Kurrently Kewl.
I'll bet Phred has a firm handshake.
Ladies and Gentlemen - I am quite literally as far West from you as can be (Vancouver, WA) and still be on this continent. I just saw "one of them" at a light in front of me. Jerks.
Keep Hate Alive
Norm, take consolation in the fact that the CH ratio where you are is much lower.
And it's probably 30 degrees cooler.
Norm - MrsTHT says she's with you on the Hate.
"We don't mix with 'that kind'."
I should start marketing houndstooth turbans.
Aero ...
Don't you dare.
Jet - I don't know, Aero may just be onto something there. I'm sure they'll show up better on the Apache-cam. Then you could just imagine they're actually cousin rather than camel humpers when you're getting them in your sights. I like the idea.
put them on the suicide bombers.
I'm just not sure of any project that places more houndstooth in the marketplace.
Somehow, introduce Pork (the other white meat) into the process of making these houndstooth turbans. That'd be funny.
ehyou said...
Just Shoot Me...Maya was very cute.
ehyou, you can catch her on Tuesday nights at 9:00 on TNT on Saving Grace.
She's no longer cute.
When I grow up, I want to be The Most Interesting Man in the World.
I don't want to grow up. It doesn't sound like fun.
For a variety of reasons, that's just not going to happen. Chief among those reasons is that you're relying on growing up.
Keep Hate Alive
I am in absolute, 100% agreement with Jet on the houndstooth.
I stopped growing up years ago. Now I just grow out.
Norm, no she's not, but Saving Grace is a good show.
Norm, I can't believe you saw "one of them" all the way up in WA.
That Grace is 'bout as rough as a cob.
Where there are single wides, they will come.
Luv - I definitely did. I have two witnesses but they're not college ball fans and couldn't appreciate the fit I was throwing. The only positive thing I can say is that at least the dude was driving a new and clean pickup truck.
It is also rumored that if you draw a circle around your house in tooth brushes, it will keep them out.
Holly Hunter has definitely not aged well.
Norm,
Just remember the Good Book ...
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8.
Thank you Brother, one can always find words of wisdom and encouragement from The Good Book. And now, please stand and join me in singing "How Great Thou Art" the first, second and fourth stanzas.
norm, it must have been a WA resident who bought the truck at auction and the previous owner happened to be a cousin humper. he'll never get the truck clean enough...
Ha! Some dude emailing Jay, telling him what stories to write. That's rich.
Kinda like when "Tony F." wrote Josh Moon...oh, wait.
I kid.
la la la la la (hands over hears)
I do not want to hear that Maya is no longer cute. She will always be a babaliscious 30 yr old fashion mag writer to me.
Griff - ain't that the truth!
Norm...
That poor 3rd verse. It got left out like 90% of the time.
I'd pay good money to see Norm "throwing a fit".
the way holly hunter talks is so irritating it's distracting to me
Monica,
As a witness to a Norm fit or two, I can say it's worth the price of admission. Furthermore, you tend not to complain about the price of the popcorn.
ehyou Maya looks cute in this pic from the Saving Grace website
http://www.tnt.tv/series/savinggrace/photos/?oid=38249-37955
ooooo Jet perhaps you can help precipitate a fit so that I can watch!?!
Steve I'll give you the Beatles off of that list :)
Monica ...
Holly Hunter's voice = East Brewtonesque?
Or is it Atmoreish?
ehyou - I have never understood what the Baptist Music Ministers had against the third stanza.
Mon - it doesn't happen often at all and I was exaggerating when I referred to it earlier, but when a real one does occur, it is NOT pretty.
Or this set of pix. She was a cutie on Just Shoot Me.
http://www.cinema-stars.com/gallery/1/1591/Laura_San+Giacomo
It's not her accent it's that crooked mouth funky slurred sound she makes. MMBSAL
Norm - I don't want to be on the receiving end of the fit, I just want to watch it! :-)
OMNI - I was unfamiliar with MMBSAL so I Googled it. YOU are the first return.
Wasn't Maya Julia Roberts' fellow working girl in Pretty Woman?
Someone needs to piss Norm off, eh? We need a volunteer to call him a bammer.
Warning: running from him would be an exercise in futility. Just take your beating.
HAHAHAHA That is too freakin funny, Norm!
Yes, Julia Robers friend was played by Laura San Giacomo. My favorite line: "Oh, the presh-uh of a name...Cinda-f*****-rella!
What up peeps?
Daughter says she sat next to T Rollinson today at Camp War Eagle. She says several students were going ga ga over him and getting their picture taken with him. He is enrolled to start the next minimester.
I bet they were going ga ga over HER. She's quite the looker.
Better than a Norm Fit is a Normsarcasmgasm. It has been known to cause hyperventilation.
When he gets going, it's kinda like Wesley Person, you feed him the ball.
Got her looks from her dad cause he doesn't have any.
Thanks for the compliment. I am biased though as I will agree with you about her looks.
She is so stoked about starting school this fall.
Nice, Jet. Nice.
Anybody see this article.
http://www.realfootball365.com/articles/auburn/14071
This guy thinks Rollinson has a shot at starting.
Sarcasmgasm????
Oh that's right up there with Laughterbation.
Nicely done my friend.
That boy Jet, he does pretty nice work.
wtc, I do think Tyrik could see playing time as a backup and under worst case conditions earn a starting job later in the season, but I don't consider it likely. That guy also says "he bottom line is that he can throw and runs the 40 in 4.55. What's better than that"? What is better than this is having a QB that can make smart decisions.
So P Marsh, Evan, and Charles vacation together? That sounds a bit peculiar.
Watching "The Cincinnati Kid" on TCM ... Tuesday Weld was babealcious.
Tuesday was quite a hottie back in the day. Wonder what she's up to now, whatever it is I bet she still looks pretty good.
Does it surprise anyone that I love Alanis Morissette?
No. Does it surprise you that I don't?
1. Mon likes Alanis Morrisette
2. Norm doesn't.
3. Hoopie doesn't like invalid specutlation.
4. JayG likes Jenna Fischer.
5. Michael doesn't like puppets.
Surprises of surprises.
Good night all.
No. It doesn't.
Have you checked your FB mail lately?
G'night Jet
I saw that you'd sent me something. Given my current location and that I'm with quite a few people, I haven't viewed it yet. I will.
Undercover says that Ford and Travis have qualified. This is good news. Any linemen showing up is good news.
That is indeed great news about Ford and Travis. Ford is my sleeper for the 09 class. Travis has a shot at stepping into the spot vacated by J savage.
I always knew Alabama stunk, but I never knew there was documented proof.
Well it seems that our top safety in the 2010 class are off the board. Alex Ogletree to UGA and Jarrick Williams to the evil empire. Since we just sent two packing, I guess this will be a position of need. I sure hope player development is a strengh for this new staff.
Good Morning all.
Disappointed that AU did not get Williams or Ogletree. I think the Blount coach was kind to say AU made a strong push but just got in too late for WIlliams.
It's just going to take having a decent season for several kids to see how AU has improved.
HAPPY DAVID CAMPBELL DAY!!!
T-minus 70 days til kickoff!
The best to ever wear #70, and my 2nd all-time favorite AU Defensive Tackle, David Campbell was All-American in 1968. He almost single-handedly destroyed the Miami Hurricanes offense on October 26, 1968, helping pave the way to unranked Auburn's crushing 31-6 victory over the 9th ranked Canes.
Campbell had 7 sacks, that's SEVEN SACKS, in that game for -59 yards as Miami piled up a whopping MINUS 85 yards on the ground that day against an inspired AU defense. Never did Push 'em back, Push 'em back, Waaaaayyyy back have more meaning.
WARRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
GO TIGERS!!!
BigCat ....
Take heart ... I believe we'll get D.J. Howard, a safety from Lincoln before too long.
THT, your knowledge of AU football is incredible. I enjoy reading about some of these players from earlier times that I've never heard of before. Good stuff.
Was this Ogletree related to the Ogletree that played LB for AU? That doesn't seem like a very common name, so I am assuming that he probably is.
Family story ... I have 6 nephews ... my dad was the QB for 3 on 3 football games in the yard. When a tree branch would knock down a pass, he always said "Craig Ogletree" knocked down the pass.
Craig, thanks Jet, I couldn't remember what his first name was.
Morning Hotties - checking in again from the Pacific NW of WA. After about a 3 hour nap, we're ready to get back to the business at hand here. Rest assured, even though sleep deprived the hate doesn't suffer. If anything, it festers.
Enjoy your Saturday.
Keep Hate Alive.
he was #94. I do not know if he is related to Alec.
depressed-thanks, but kudos should go to the AU Football Media Guide. I finally have a use for all that time I've spent reading it from cover to cover each August for the past 3 or 4 decades.
I just wish I could trade that for the first hand memories of the Hotties who grew up going to AU games regularly. We rarely ever made it to games in Auburn. Each yr we'd see them in either Clemson, Athens, or Atlanta. I only remember going to 3 games in Auburn before I enrolled there.
Family Story: My nephew was a CPA with Playboy. He worked with Farrah Fawcett. He said she was shrewd and mean. He also said she would have been so angry that she was upstaged by MJ.
Norm,
MrsTHT enjoys your posts. She's with you on the Hate, 11,359%
Mon - you're too young to have a nephew old enough to be employed, much less a CPA. Is there a little bit more WV in your history than we've been lead to believe?
He is Greg's oldest sister's oldest child and he's in his mid 30's.
Family stories here could involve Speakers of the House of US, a governor, a famous actress of the day, a Chief Justice of a state's supreme court, a murder along with other untimely deaths, some alcoholics, etc. But I'm too tired. But those were all from the past. Oh sure, I could tell you about how my father once quite literally put my eye out, or another time where he almost destroyed my right arm from further use. But again, I'm too tired. I don't have the interesting Jet stories coming to mind.
Oh yeah...Keep Hate Alive
Monica, unfortunately, I guess celebrities(including athletes) are much nicer the less you know about them. She always seemed somewhat down-to-earth in public.
Well Drew isn't very nice himself so maybe he's wrong. Actually, he's quite bitchy.
Good Morning Hot Ones! It looks like another beautiful yet sweltering day on the Plains.
Jet I saw that DJ Howard was really high on us and felt he was close to committing. But I also saw where his coach said he thought DJ was the best RB in Alabama since Carnell Williams. It's kinda hard for me to believe that he will come to AU to play safety if a descent enough school offers him the chance to play RB. Isnt that exactly how we stole Ronnie Brown from Tenn?
Norm we are definately Keeping the Hate Alive in your absence!
JGT great article. I don't have a lot of time but do read your stuff when I can. The good stuff just keeps coming and we all appreciate your effort and good work.
My second summer vacation begins today. I'm headed for Kentucky and, later, Ohio.
Blogging will be relatively light with me away from HABOTN Headquarters in E. Montgomery, Ala.
I'll create daily threads, though. Maybe not today. Thigpen is still phresh.
Craig Ogletree was in one of my finance classes at AU. He was a very impressive, smart guy. He always made it to class and always participated. I will never forget him being in my class because I thought he represented what a student athlete was supposed to be. He also remember that he wore really small, stylish glasses, which looked pretty funny on such a big dude.
Scott, send ol' 94 some chocolate.
I've got a serious hankering for barbecue...North Carolina barbecue. But it just ain't gonna happen :-(. There isn't any decent bbq nearby and it's too late to drive an hour for lunch. Oh well, it's a lot cheaper to eat at home.
I blame the bammers for keeping the really good barbecue out of Chapel Hill; therefore, I hate them even more.
Not just keeping the hate alive, but nurturing it.
Way to go Doc/THT. You WILLED it.
I think I have found possibly the only thing that could possibly suck about being at the beach with beautiful weather and nothing pressing to do....
It sucks that I am at a golf resort with 4 great looking courses, and I didn't bring my golf clubs.
The thing that should suck is the difficult decision of which course to play... But, no... I have to sit here and look at these courses and kick myself.
Norm - nah, all the Hotties were just too busy hatin bama to post
ok, maybe I did Will it.
I believe you did.
Well, one of you killed it. I don't know which one. But one of you did it.
And I hate UAT.
Ditto.
Provincial twit. I know.
I probably said this the last time I mowed the lawn ... but at 7:45 this morning, there was a faint breeze.
That familiar smell of freshly cut grass wafted up, and it was surely the scent of football season soon to arrive.
I strained to listen, and I heard a whistle, the popping of pads, the distant drums of a marching band practicing.
Man, I can't wait.
we're 25 minutes closer than we were at your last post, Jet
Some fast 40 times at the Rivals combine today at Spanish Fort. What's the purpose of rising srs with lots of offers in hand, or who have already committed, participating in this?
Also, Mobile Press-Register Elite 18 to be in Sunday paper.
Details of the above here
hey folks. i've been engaged in combat with the grim reaper over the past several weeks (came up short twice) so i've only been lurking. the origin of "passed away" clearly belongs to au's qb charles thomas. he "passed away" more footballs than any other au qb i ever saw. on the upside, i have solved the riddle of the best rock/blues guitarist. saw clapton/winwood in glendale last night. clapton>page (never saw hendricks or vaughn).
clearly, i have stomped the life out of this thread. apologies to all.
Yes, the thread has been Tucsoned.
This thread has been trying to die all day long.
BinOba, if you are lurking, please pass on the name of your eating establishment.
I HATE BAMA...(clap, clap, clap)
DAVID CAMPBELL DAY on the HABOTN will not go down without a fight.
WAR EAGLE!!!
GO TIGERS!!!
HATE bama!!!
etc etc
speakin of which, d. miller, got a new set of clubs. came with 'hybrid irons" (what we used to call"driving irons". i still suck at golf.
Brown Cow ice cream!
WTC - I know you're not here right now, but how is it that I'm just now seeing your new avatar???
You've changed your work out a bit?
JayGT-y'all reached your destination safely yet?
I am now drunk at a professional conference for which I am not a member.
Scott, what kind of clubs did you get?
Well, not drunk. But, maybe I have had a little more from the open bar than I should have.
Mon-started taking Flaxseed Oil from Barry Bonds trainer. He said it help meet recovery quicker from my workouts. Notice the incredible lats AND calves.
wtc, you should totally set your avatar back to that picture of Platz. That guy had some crazy legs
Checking HABOTN before heading out the door, and then WTC drops that one us ... whew ... that's disturbing.
HEY D. MILLER!!! HOW'S THE HEAD THIS MORNING?
Morning Hotties - after a 3 hour nap, the workday began again here at 3:30am. Good times, good times indeed. If nothing else this makes it easy to continue the hate.
Keep Hate Alive.
Oh my head....
HAPPY BEN GRUBBS DAY!!!
T-minus 69 days until kickoff.
Even the youngsters in Habotnville know Ben. This 6'3" 315# FIRST ROUND NFL draft pick arrived at Auburn as a great high school LB/FB. After adding a little, ok, a lot of meat to his frame he became an outstanding OL, leading the SEC in blocking assignment percentages during his final two seasons. All this, and more, can be found at his wiki entry
GO TIGERS!!!
Press-Register Elite Eighteen
THT, AU has 3 of the top 12 thus far, with 3-4 more looking like solid possibilities. This will be Auburn's best in-state showing in 3 years, regardless of the other players that might end up committing. For a coaching staff that has been together for roughly six months, I think that is an impressive job. Would love to see Mosley and Owens come to Auburn, a simple depth-chart of Auburn and Alabama at LB would seem to be enough to convince them of a future with the good guys. I think Jet mentioned Howard recently as a strong possibility for Auburn at the safety position, a definite position of need.
I'm ready for some fireworks later this week. I want M-80s and Cherry Bombs, none of that sissy stuff.
Agreed, Tar Heel. In Trooper, I trust.
Good morning and WDE.
Man .. if I leave 10 more comments,
that would turn the page. Now do I have the willpower?
Does anyone here have an adderall or two?
I guess not. Oh well. I'm going to brew me some coffee.
Coffee reminds me.. I don't know why people call it 'Java'.
While Java does produce some good coffee, but in my humble opinion Java coffee does not have the same flavor, or aroma of the columbian coffee.
I could use a strong cup 'o joe, aero.
If any hottie is looking for a budget 1080p 40" LCD tv, Dell has the sony bravia (sorry, not the XBR line) for $750.
Go Here . Add it to the cart.
Apply coupon code VVP2M7NRSX9P16 (expires 7/3)
I think it's a pretty good unit for the price.
I will not rest till every hottie has a huge HDTV before football season.
That, and till we flip the page.
Miller, Coffee's ready.
Many budget coffee makers do not brew good coffee because they do not operate hot enough. Well maybe they do, but not to my liking.
My favorite coffee maker is the one that I got for free from Givalia.
The End.
I'M AN AUNT AGAIN! Dirty had her baby girl this morning. Black hair, not red. Name TBA.
WTC - I so noticed the lats and calves and did you say it helps meet recover quicker? Flax Seed oil on the shopping list for today.
