i'm kinda bummed my boy Darvin Adams didn't make any squads but he's still got 2 years. i need him to be an All-American so i can put him on the walls of fame. there's time.

he was 9th in the SEC in scoring TDs, 5th in receptions per game, and 4th in receiving yards per game. not too shabby.

Wow, you delete a whole comment over a minor name calling deal? Whatev.

Bottom line is, Adams should have been on the team. His stats were much better than all but Shay Hodge. I'm not sure what the writers and coaches are looking at.

Blogger Wakeriderof87 said...

So there is only one WR on the coach's All SEC team? That seems like a big problem that needs to be fixed. We are moving towards half the league running 3 and 4 WR sets as the norm.

Here is someting that is very confusing when it comes to rating a player:

Rivals has CJ Moseley, a very good player, ranked 7th best palyer in the state of Alabama. Rivals has him listed as the 91st best player in the nation. Rivals the 1st & 2nd rated kids in Alabama in their top 100, then they skip to the 7th best in the state of Alabama as the 91st best player in the nation. Coincidence that the 1st & 2nd ranked kids in AL are committed to UAT and #7 ranked kid is a lean to UAT? #3, #5, #6 in the state are headed to AU. They are not ranked in the top 100 in the nation. interesting.

8:43 PM
Blogger wtc said...

The JUCO kid, Johnnie Dixon, a former AU signee, is listed as the 17th best JUCO player in the nation. Tubbs recruited him to AU. He has no offers at this time to move to a 4 year school.

I have never had a problem with Linksys....
What do you consider the best out there (for the price) when it comes to routers?

I honestly don't know a lot about other routers. I have just had trouble with linksys in the past, particularly with my work. I also know that our IT department will throw them away if possible. I wish I had one to honestly recommend, but I don't. I actually ended up buying a linksys router recently because it was the only non-wireless router the place had. It has worked okay so far, but I wish I could have found something different. I had to have non-wireless because of my work and security concerns.

That investigation of Tennessee is interesting. Use the hoochie, Luke, use the hoochie. This could actually become more damaging to recruiting than the result of the investigation. Kids don't like going to schools that may end up on probation. I find it unusual that the NCAA is getting this involved prior to signing day. It is likely that being accused could cause punishment in itself.

By the way, I often use amazon out about stuff. Read their ratings and comments. It should give you an idea. They aren't always the cheapest, but using their evaluations help.

At least we know where Lattimore will not be going to,
it also speaks to the tacit sleaziness of Kiffin.

It breaks my heart that the NCAA is looking into Tennessee.

I don't see where it implicates Kiffikin. It does say something about the class of people at UT.

I am just glad it is not Auburn, It is about every other year that the NY Times focuses an article about Auburn sports and it is never good.

Personally, if anyone knows of recruiting violations at Auburn I would encourage them to report them to the NCAA and for Auburn to get rid of the parties involved. I am not a win at all cost guy and I don't like the message it sends to kids. It is why I believe in Auburn and the Auburn Creed and love it:)

No wonder a classy guy like Eddie Gran is bailing on that cesspool.

Juwan James decommitted from UA due to the textbook NCAA issues according to him.

Sweet irony that his recruitment by UT is being investigated.

One other thing.. Kiffin probably shouldn't have ticked off Mike Slive..

FSJ, you are right about that. He destroyed his own credibility right off the bat. Of course, it doesn't matter because it was part of the strategy.
