Can't listen at work. :(
I love Hatin'!
Hate hate hate hate
Who HATIN'?
ME!
So rumor is Lebron's poor play was because his mom was with a team mate? I find this one a little far fetched.
Calvin Murphy confirms LeBron James mom Delonte West affair true - rumors will not quiet

woot woot
Loving hate is oxymoronic, right?
It's hard to look at Delonte West. Gives me the creeps.
I'm getting a lot of static on the audio stream.
More than likely you have a poltergeist Norm.
So Lebron's mom is hittin' Delonte West?!?!
I think it's the other way around JGT.
I guess we will know how true it is if they try to trade West really fast!
Paparazzi
I'm not alone on the Melissa Joan Hart thing, right?
I'd post pics, but I don't want to get anyone in trouble at work. You can Google her and "Maxim" to see what I'm talking about.
crap. i'm late to the HATE party. guess i'll have to catch it later on podcast. :(
1. It's about time to engrave Coach Paws' name on the "SEC Coach of the Year" trophy. Only one team vastly exceeded expectations from the preseason. It was Auburn.
2. Can't imagine Delonte breaking out the "that's what she said" anytime soon.
3. I still remain in a posture of hate.
she's a cute girl. if she's scantily-clad, what's wrong with that? you've got my support JG. ;)
DUDE, Melissa Joan Hart in Maxim?! Sign me up! She was my first celebrity crush.
mroning hotties, yeah jet lets go ahead and engrave his name on that trophy, sounds good to me.
I have terrible news...the Flying Biscuit near my house closed.
I'm not trying to attempt some post-radio hate, but is Marquis Daniels really a star?
TMZ says so.
(Footage of MD's step-father getting tased at a recent game.)
That's just shocking.
Did they really title the article "The Shocking Footage"? That's pretty hokey.
Ref DeRosa suspended without pay

I knew they didn't throw the guy out. "Hanning was not ejected, the NBA said in a statement. According to the Sentinel, Hanning was relocated "
Hanning is president and CEO of Wyndham Vacation Ownership.
somebody tase me out of this lecture.
Back to tazing...I love it!
Once again when police tell you to stop doing something stop doing it.
I liked MD when he was at AU but I wouldn't say he is a star. I didn't even know he played for Boston.
West and someones mom is just sick.
West and anyone is sick.
He's the chicken 'n biscuits guy.
p.s.: This is a wonderful read for the gals.
"I can be romantic, but this is real, we're going to eat some chicken tonight. Chicken and biscuits."
SFC will like this. Currently in development, a tv series starring William Shatner based off of "$*** My Dad Says".
i honestly had no idea who Delonte West was till i read that article.
Delonte is one classy dude.
Aycock off team for violation of rules.
sad

I'm sure Dontae was headed for a redshirt, anyway.
Wow. In a 24-hour period, the Vent had Jason Whitlock, Buzz Bissinger and Jay G.
I've arrived, baby.
Little shameless promotion. Follow me on twitter:
www.twitter.com/morningvent
It's not the first time they've kicked A....
Never mind.
After all the great things we heard about Dontae last year on the scout team, I was expected a lot of contribution from in this season.
since you asked nicely i am now following you. :)
Jay G,
Do you think Aycock will get to play this year?
sorry...had to break out your favorite question one last time.
Aycock....we hardly knew ye. bummer.
easy homes.
lectur is over. Lunch time!
Google's homepage has Pac Man on the front page.
Sweet.
Norm...
The show's tag line seems to be, "The Shat hits the fan."
Ebro...
I saw that. It's cool.
that's AUsome E-Bro. it's got music too!!!!!!!!!
scottie...
You can play it too.
i see that now. cool. yup, my day is officially a waste now.
Yeah. Sorry. Forgot to mention that you could actually play it as well.
Bless Google.
finally catching up on the HATE. Cartman as Lady Gaga....never gets old.
OMG...that chicken and biscuits read was nasty.....I hope I never meet that guy because he's so "romantic"
Aycock had already been redshirted and he would have played this year. We now definitely have issues with runningback depth, but my guess is there are players that could switch positions if needed. We will have something like 4 runningbacks, which is pretty scary if the injury bug hits.
With Supermario and FAH already shown a tendency to get banged up, we could be left with Eric Smith and Michael Dyer to carry the load. Not a good situation.
Of course, there is Ladarius Phillips coming in. A 270 pound runningback would be interesting for a while.
Aycock did not look good in the sprin game. VEYR timid. I was surprised how soft he ran the ball. Thta is not why he was dismissed, but still I think he was not going to figure in into much playing time. I thought with Fannin, Dyer, FAH at Tb and ESmith and Lutz at Hback, he was not getting on the field this coming year unless there were some injuries. But IMO Dyer will be the cow bell by mid season. Remeber, he is not 18 years old. More like 20. big difference.
Some hot ones are lunching at Momma G's today. We may live blog a little of it.
Yea, Aycock was probably the least likely to play, other than Phillips, but 4 runningbacks is a depth issue if we play two at a time. If Malzahn uses other players in the h-back role, then it is not nearly as big of an issue.
Or maybe we see Kodi Burns, the runningback.
I am seeing comment on al.com that this opens up the way for Dyer to get playing time. Bull hockey. There is no way Dyer was getting redshirted unless he was injured.
OK, I'm not a coarch, but I was expecting big things for Dontae this year, especially early. Whatever it was, it must of been pretty bad to get cut loose. Wonder if Tech would be interested to have him now?
Hate that Aycock is gone, but such is life. I wish him well. I concur with WTC that he did look timid in the A-Day game.
He would be wise to go I-AA for the rest of his career or juco for a year then re-emerge for two years a la Chris Todd/Cam Newton.
It thins us at RB some, but it just reinforces that Dyer will be playing and playing a lot soon. Was likely to happen anyway.
I do admire how Chizik isn't afraid to use the boot.
Aycock is apparently telling his former team mates at Auburn that he is transferring to Notre Dame! Yea, right........
Rivals do a Q and A with Austin Hubbard and they asked him what he felt his greatest moment was as an Auburn Baseball player, he talked about traveling but then said,
"But our greatest moment is hopefully still ahead of us. Hopefully I'll have a better answer for this question in a month or so."
Like it
Cam was timid in the Spring Game.
I am thinking Cam will be fine once he gets a few games under his belt. Playing Arkansas State first should help.
The MSU game worries me because I expect them to improve and if we start slow, we could end up getting upset.
Under Tuberville we usually took a few games to start clicking offensively. Last season was different. We clicked from the get go. I hope that is how it will stay with ChizCo.
I think we will be fine at RB. We have several players that have come in with the ATH tag. They could play the HB role. I think some people overlook Eric Smith. I think he is very valuable and will play a big role this year. DA wasn't going to play much if at all. Best wishes.
WTC, I asked last night about a possible donation towards a 100yd indoor practice facility. Do you know anything about this?
CHB ..enjoyed the Beer. Holla next time you're in town.
Looks like Chiz has tased Aycock. Hate it for the kid. Dunno what was the problem, but musta been bad.
Weee ...CHB can bring Bama hate with the best of them.
The concern at running back won't be the starter or the backup. It will be depth should we get a few injuries.
In general, at each position you should have 3 or 4 times the number of players that play that position on the depth chart. For instance, 3 or 4 QBs since only 1 is on the field at once, but 6 to 8 runningbacks since we typically use two, although it is a little blurred with the h-back and TE. We are now setting at 4, which is a big concern.
The other thing is the number of plays we run. Malzahn wants to run over 80 plays a game. With that many plays it would be easy to have two tailbacks with 20 carries each. Suddenly 4 seems like a very small number when you consider the possibility of injury.
That being said, the use of the TE in the HB role and possible other players switching positions should help. It is weird to say, but we are absolutely loaded with wide receivers, so there is potential there.
Hatin' on Bama is a good use of time during the summer doldrums.
Maybe we can get Jet to post his Bama Hatin' Manifesto just to inspire some of the newbies.
We were very lucky last season that we didn't significant have OL or Lb injuries. That could have cost us several games.
The situation at those positions is not AS critical this season, but could still be an issue. Can we avoid injuries at those positions 2 seasons in a row?
Here's an interesting topic: If the BCS strips USC of their '04 title, should we claim it?
Related substance.
if this has been discussed i totally missed it, but did anybody see COLLEGE FOOTBALL LIVE on ESPN yesterday? i had it dvr'd and they went in-depth on USC possibly losing its 2004 title b/c of the Reggie Bush violations. they were adamant that the AP should re-vote and AU be named 2004 AP National Champions. i was shocked they were so pro-Auburn.
Same here Hoopie. I will probably be back in town the later part of June. I will let you know. For those who don'e know Hoopie is one wild dude.
WEE....I have trouble sleeping sometimes because of the walmartian hate built up in side of me.
I still think we are going to be fine this year. I think 10-2 is a real possibility.
wow Secondaid, we must be on the same frequency or something.
they said if they were AU and got the title they'd celebrate, put up a banner, the whole deal. the BCS would vacate the champion and not have one but the AP could re-vote just like they did a few weeks back on another issue.
It won't mean diddley if we claim the 2004 NC. It just doesn't matter.
I think it was last week that I said we should claim it. It wouldn't be like some of the walmartians' or ND's MNC where they lost their bowl game and still claimed the title.
also on ESPN today here's a Chris Low article:
2010 SENIOR-LADEN AUBURN TROUBLE IN 2010
if we can hang a banner & print t-shirts it matters to me. the announcers said that a title 6 years later probably wouldn't mean as much to the players, but the administration, fans, town, etc. should go all out & enjoy it b/c going undefeated in the SEC is so difficult.
The undefeated season and spanking UT twice is what mattered to me.
I would take a flag hanging up in the stadium saying 2004 national champs.
That said, it sounds like a really flawed system if you can vote on a national champion six years after the fact.
We should go back and claim a few championships from Donahue's undefeated teams.
the NCAA flawed? say it isn't so E-bro! haha, that rhymed.
the ESPN guys were saying that since the AP re-voted on another issue (i can't remember what it was for) that there is a precedent and if that if USC was stripped by the BCS of their title that the AP could do the same things & re-vote. they said they would not vote for Oklahoma since they got spanked and so we would be the logical choice to be #1. they were insistent that USC needed to pay some kind of price for this cheating. why punish the kids that play there now? taking UCS's 2004 title & Heisman from them were what they wanted done.
and one fine Terry....
and a #89 Darvin Adams too!
I am vehemently opposed to retroactive "claiming" of championships.
That's what "they" do. That's who "they" are.
Celebrate the greatness of that team, but our eyes should be looking forward, not backward.
DWWD ... Believe in work, hard work ... hate UAT.
That is all.
I was watching the ESPN 2:30 CDT program and was amazed at the support for Auburn except for one guy. He said they should not hammer Sou Cal to bad because of the time laps and the fact that what went on did not make Young a better or worse player. What a laugh I got where was this guy when Auburn, Ala Okl. and many others were hammered way after the deed.
the ESPN guys brought it up. i'm just relaying the message.
i agree....and i HATE.
but i'll take another banner. it can hang between our 1957 & our 2011 NC banners. :)
If the AP re-votes and gives it to us, then I'll salute the banner when I walk in the stadium.
I'm thinking in might be time soon for Brother Jet's summer HATE-cation Bible School.
preach it brother. preach it.
I thought Rod Gilmore's argument was horrible. He said it didn't matter if Bush was paid or not, it didn't change what an excellent player he was that season and USC won their games.
Well it does matter if he was paid, because that excellent player wouldn't have been on the field.
I also found it ironic that Craig James was on there hitting USC hard about violations when he was on the only team to ever get the death penalty.
yup, Bush is a cheater. therefore, USC cheated. if they hadn't cheated they wouldn't have won. AU would've beaten OU for the title.
there, i said it.
I'm getting pissed off.
About this as well as a number of other topics (non sports related).
I want to see Auburn win football games. I would love to see Auburn win the SECCG or the BSCG. Titles don't do it for me. Watching great football games does. While some of you stare at championship banners, I will be watching the games.
As for Oklahoma, they were not that good in 2004 and many recognized it before USC humiliated them. I think it was a bad Texas A&M team that nearly beat them. It came down to a field goal, if I remember correctly.
I don't know if Auburn would have beaten USC in 2004, but I do believe there were numerous teams that would have beaten Oklahoma.
Like I said, I'll take the banner if it is given out. Not gonna go out and buy a shirt (sorry Scottie) that says 2004 national champs, but I'll accept some official recognition.
Someone could probably even talk me into being down with receiving a replica crystal ball.
Steve...you can stare at the banners during pre-game and TV timeouts.
sorry Okie Norm. i'll stay away from that fightin' side of ya.
and E-Bro, i'll be chillin' in my t-shirt, looking up at the banner from my seats in Section 12, Row 11 with a big smile on my face! :)
And while I don't count every season without a championship a failure, I do want to be winning them and think we should strive for that on the field. I've got no problem admitting that.
Well you should, scottie. Well you should.
I actually consider Oklahoma getting to the BSNC in 2004 a bigger injustice than Auburn not making it. It just illustrates that absurd world of college football.
As for Bush getting paid not mattering, that is a bunch of crap. Heck, lets bring Ronnie Brown and Caddy back and let them play another season. Why would it matter?
Plus, let Tracy Rocker get in on a few snaps here and there. What would it matter?
If you don't play by the rules, there is no way you should be considered for any championship.
I say let the beer flow and let the banner be unfurled. I think it's a great honor to a great team that was swept under the rug by the PTB.
'we' cheated back in the 90's and were punished in 1993, thus eliminating us from any championships. do the crime, do the time. time's up USC....get some!
I'm taking the championship and buying the shirt. Just because we were jobbed out of celebrating then doesn't mean I can't celebrate now. Also, it would be nice that we would become the state's latest team to win a NC.
Jet- You would vehemently oppose a blood transfusion if it meant saving your life because of the color of the blood.
More than likely what will happen is that the current USC coaches and players will be punished. What does it matter who is punished, as long as someone is punished. Such is the world of the NCAA.
I would not be in favor of claiming retroactive championships.
Thanks to the actions of the inbred, ignorant, arrogant and embarrassing entity over in W Vance, I'm even more firm in this opinion.
When does the NCAA release the punishment?
It's not retroactive based on a new formula. For the AP the formula is the same, the team that was awarded were awarded based on assumptions which might end up being invalid. If they go back and use the same methodology and Auburn were chosen it is not retroactive as much as it is six years too late.
Once again, letting the bamers dictate what you do is them controlling you. Us getting the championship this way is simply undoing an injustice, not reaching from the stars to improve our media guide.
Sorry that I'm a few hours late on the Aycock stuff.
I had a pair of lunch meetings -- one with some HOTTIES -- and I'm not going to make a trip home while on vacation to post something.
So I'll do it now.
I guess if the AP re-votes, the so be it.
Unilaterally claiming the title should be left up to the Walmartians.
As I said earlier, if the AP re-votes and awards it, then it's legit.
It's not like we are going back 30 years later and claiming championships that we never recognized before that nobody of notice ever recognized.
Hoopie- Agree with you there.
RK- Spot On, same way I feel.
Mega-dittos all around.
super-mega dittos.
i mean, the AP > Tuscaloosa laundromat.
Hey, Hotties!
Did anyone see The Mentalist last night? I wasn't totally awake, but I think the bad guy-serial killer, Red John, is a bammer.
Did I just dream that?
I'm not going to campaign for the title but if awarded I would celebrate it. In this case I think it is deserved. It's not like its many years latter and some random guy with a magazine decides to pick the champions retroactively.
Keep the hate going. I'm going to P90X it up.
I think if you look down through history that most serial killer types were bammers.
I don't have the stats to back it up, but I'm pretty sure that's accurate.
