Let the watching begin
Hey everyone. Hope you're having a great SUMMER SOLSTICE. It's the longest day of the year, so make the most of it!
I'm just here to pass along some information about two Auburn football players.
Linebacker Craig Stevens and offensive tackle Lee Ziemba have been named to award watch lists. It's a rite of passage for college seniors. These two players are, in my opinion, deserving.
Stevens has caught the attention of people who administrate the Nagurski Trophy. The senior-to-be was credited with 90 tackles last season. He also was one of the four players who participated in all 115 snaps of the Outback Bowl. They don't come tougher than that.
Ziemba is up for the Outland Trophy, which goes to the nation's top lineman -- on offense or defense. The Arkansas native is tall, strong, durable and generally good. What else can I say?

morning hotties!
HAPPY #71 WILLIE ANDERSON DAY!
Unsurprisingly, Isner didn't last long in his second round match today at Wimbledon. Lost in straight sets, 0, 3, and 2.
Time to see how far his doubles play goes in the tourney and then go get some rest.
Thanks for the spoiler, Bro of E!
Whatever you do, don't let me know what the Civil War was about ... still trying to figure that one out.
Jet - I hope he's learned his lesson.
Well I do have some thoughts on the subject if you're ever interested.
Lesson learned. Brazil-Portugal kick off in little over an hour, at which time my time at HABOTN will end for the day.
Cincy & Kathy - no, I did not "see" Luv. But how could we not think about her on Friday?
TEN WEEKS. Tomorrow we'll be just TEN WEEKS away from kickoff!!!
10 WEEKS! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL????!!!!
i'm so excited i'm on FIRE!
10 weeks! I hate wishing my life away, but I am so ready for football!!!
Happy Friday, Hotties!
Regarding the CFA spicy chicken sandwich, my friends at a local franchise mistakenly gave me the spicy instead of the regular sandwich that I had ordered. I liked it and will get it again, but I must admit the first bite was a surprise.
I think the Dawg and the Frog deserve a lot of credit for surviving their marathon and displaying sportsmanship afterward.
Have a good weekend, everybody!
Scottie B - that cracked me up.
Now go douse yourself....preferably with a nonflammable liquid.
Ephemeral...word on the Dawg and the Frog.
Just an amazing sporting event, the likes of which I'm pretty confident we'll never see again.
will hot coffee work THT? i'm 2 mugs in.
If wtc or wtc's mom is watching the blog, what do either of you, or anyone else for that matter, know about Jacob Fahrenkrug? Other than he's apparently a Juco lineman that we've offered a scholly to according to ITAT.
What about Spaulding Smails? Have we offered him? I hope not.
I received a football scholarship offer once, sort of, kind of.
Late August after my friends were back in college and I was waiting for fall qtr to start, I would go up to jr high field and placekick my official AU football, routinely from 40 yards and a few times from 50 yards. On one occasion, the jr hi team was practicing on a playground at least 150 yds away. The coach sent one of his players over to ask if I was interested in playing for them. That was 50 lbs ago, so I guess I looked "jr high eligible" from a distance.
sweet. that's a better offer than i ever received.
my holder/dad thought it was hilarious. I was in my late teens, so of course, I found it highly insulting.
Luego.
I received an offer once but I don't typically carry that kind of cash.
Rachel Morand of The Auburn Villager - Trovon Reed
Norm - I too have received 'that' offer a few times before. Once I was working in Memphis and got the offer from a guy. I was so angry I called the cops.
Welp .....I gotta go through the Atl to Athens, Ga. today. I'm sure I'll need to take a leak while there. Any suggestions where might be appropo?
i'd ever hit the arch on north campus or the biggest 'University of Georgia' sign i could find Hoop.
nice article on T.Reed.
Hoopie, if you gotta go downtown ATL, The Varsity's (exit 249D) bathrooms are generally ok. Plus, you can get a chili cheese dog to hold you over. Of course, you'll have to find a restroom 5 or 6 miles down the road from the varsity once that chili cheese dogs jets through your bowels at light speed, but ATL has lots of bathrooms, and it'll be worth it.
Is it summer yet. When is it going to get hot in Ala?
Great story about and great attitude from AU safety and non-scholarship redshirt freshman Blake Poole
"Jet through your bowels"
sounds like a setup for Norm. I'm not going to touch that.
I really don't understand how some of you have survived marrying outside the family... the Auburn Family. Maybe my priorities are wrong.
You go through Atlanta to get to Athens from Cartersville?
THT, i never thought i would either. just kinda happened. at least i got a Vol. a Bammer never would've flown. i HATE Bammers.
i think you kinda have to PF unless there's some cut-through i don't know about. gotta take 285 around to the NE side.
if one considers
285N/Doraville = Atlanta, then yes.
285 still quicker than SR20 or SR120.
just got an update from LGGB on WC. I will not divulge on HABOTN as long as E-Bro behaves.
THT, E-bro just texted me and he called you a 'ninny'.
just so you know....
that's so much better than most of the things I've been called.
2.0 - fyi.. You may have no intentions of calling, but if you do, my phone is deader than the Bear and my charger is in the Smurfmobile.
Anybody want a recruting update?
Mr Tommy-do not look for AU to sign that kid you mentioned. Too far from home, but they needed to offer him, is what I am hearing. Big kid though at 6'4" 320.
Tell Mom to drag her ol' bones out here and tell us herself.
Running Backs:
Coe
Hart
Bray
AU is looking to get 2 of the 3.
Offensive Line:
Smothers
O'Reilly
Dismukes
Robinson
Looking to add at least one more
Defensive Line:
Wright
Nunez
Blackson
Pilson
Jamichael Payne. AU coaches think he is better than Fanning. He plays at Auburn HS.
Smothers is a cool lineman's name
LB:
Frost
Landrum
Swain
That may be all AU gets this year.
Secondary:
Florence
Rose
Jones
Lanier
Avery Walls
Kadetrix Marcus
defensive end:
Keymiya Harrell (coaches like him alot)
Rasco
Drew
Xavier Dickson-godd shot so far
Stephon Tuitt
Terrance Coleman.
We take 4 from this group.
This will leave Rocker's cousin or whatever reationship he is out of the picture. He is good but not up the these guys.
im gonna book all these as stone cold lead pipe locks. ok wtc? thx.
Wide receiver:
Resign Richardson
Tacoi Sumler
Joe Morrow
Not all, but close to all. Still along way to February. several of these are already silent commits but do nto want to take on more pressure from their schools and fans. Some may go another way, especially at the DE spot. I have Rasco on there because Frazer has said he was coming to Au and just had ot play the game in LA so as not to go through what Redd went through last year. having Reed at AU helps.
That is all for now. Time to go to lunch.
wow, wtc. You're giving me goose bumps. Ok, not really. I don't have a clue who most of these folks are. I'll have to research tonight, then I hope to have goose bumps.
you heard it here. THT's goose bumps are on PAUSE.
Jet, thanks for the futbol link. Great to see that many Americans excited about soccer.
THT, thanks for the football links. Sounds like those two guys really understand how special it is to be an AU Tiger.
I saw "This Is It" recently. It wasn't bad, although I am not particularly a Michael Jackson fan. Of course the Irony of his last to be concert being called "This Is It" is right up there with M.C. Hammer singing "To Legit To Quit" just before his carrier went to crap.
As long as they don't televise soccer during football season, I am fine with it.
This young man needs our prayers:

Former LSU standout Chad Jones in guarded condition after car wreck
For those of you into the Boston College coach thing, here is an interesting headline.
Tom O’Brien on Hot Seat at NC State
yikes. thanks Kathy.
Thanks, Kathy, for the info. Such scary news.
Thanks for the news about Jones, Kathy. It is a very serious situation and it is always terrible to hear of young people going through things like this. All we can do is pray and hope for the best.
uh-oh SFC, you had post 666. i'd watch your back today. beware black cats & don't walk under any ladders.
JaSteve - I was so surprised when O'Brien left BC for NCSU. Not exactly a step up the career ladder, imo. Perhaps Michael can shed more light on the BC situation.
Cheeseburger? No soup for you?
Sorry, but I just try to work "no soup for you" into as many conversations as possible.
I haven't felt much of anything since my guinea pig died.
I guess you didn't eat it since it's a form of pork.
Kathy thanks my prayers go out ot him and his family.
Just had to Mater samwiches.
No soup!
to two too I am like THT I need remedial english class pronto.
don't worry, digger. We're still lightyears ahead of those bammers.
btw, what kind of maters?
Home grown Better Boys.
If I fall that low just throw dirt in my face. (Ref: bammers)
HATE BAMA!!!!!!!!
Bama is the Axis of Evil.
"It is a wretched hive of scum & villany. We must be cautious."
-Obi Wan (referring to the pit of hell itself, Tuscaloosa)
I'm late to the party, but can I still get in on the hate?
"HATE...it's an energy field created by all living Bammers. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together."
HATE ON CH=B.
"....no coach in the SEC knows offense and how to exploit a defense better than the Razorbacks' Bobby Petrino. You say Auburn's Gus Malzahn? Not close."
I wonder if Mr. Hollis will say this at the end of the year? I can't wait to find out.
http://blog.al.com/birmingham-news-sports/2010/06/post_18.html
The president of the University of Iowa apparently didn't suggest that the Big10 bring in Iowa Sate prior to voting to include Nebraska. Yes, this is a news story. Apparently some Iowa politicians are upset about this.
My guess is that the president of the University of Iowa had a good reason. They didn't want to put up with all the laughter.
You want to invite Nebraska? Well, why haven't you considered Iowa State?
Bwahahahahaha!!!!
Interesting comparisons
Isner vs. Mahut ... Isner wins 92 games, and has 112 aces.
Today, he loses in 74 minutes, wins 5 games. No surprise.
But here's the shocker ... ZERO aces. NONE. KAPUT.
I have read where the Maryland AD may go to NC State. The Maryland football coach may be fired at the end of the season. Maryland was 2-10 last season, an all time record.
This makes the fact that I read some articles suggesting Maryland would be a good fit for the SEC even more hilarious. I suppose if we want to have someone for Vandy and Kentucky to beat up on regularly, it just might make sense.
Baldy, I think Urban Meyer may know a thing or two as well
To that point I guess Mr Petrino didn't want to exploit the defenses of Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida or East Carolina.
100% agreed MTD. That "genius" sure didn't fare well with the Falcons. I won't argue he's a good coach, but standing head and shoulders above the rest? Nay. I'd say Mr. Hollis is reaching BIG here. The words "not even close" seem intended to irritate (which it did irritate me).
that's funny.
was it that funny? y'all don't have to wait until you stop laughing to start posting again.
I love Gus, and I'm optimistic, but I don't have a problem with Hollis' statement.
Petrino's got a body of work that says he's pretty special. Gus is still building his. I think he can do it.
Meyer's obviously a good coach, too, but he's had far superior athletes to his competition at Utah and Florida. He was his most exploitative when he had Percy Harvin. Imagine that.
Jet - it's Percy Harvey. Go Gatuh.
Norm ... I gladulate you on discoverating my error. Then again, old friend, I know that .... 1 ... 2,3,4,5, that mighty Norm don't take no jive.
I just don't see him being so far superior to everybody else in the sec. If mallet gets hurt, I can't believe arky makes much noise. He's good, but the best in the conference BY FAR (per hollis)? Debatable. he's been successful, but so have other OC's in the conference.
well, there is no debate that I should head home.
me too. i'm out.
Hey you kids, keep it down in there!
Aw, blow it out your ... Norm.
It's party time.
Braves 1 Tigers 1 start top of 3
I can always count on Digger to watch the Braves game with me.
Hope they can break that 3 game losing streak.
THT family is playing bridge. I have time to post since I'm dummy. (I'm sure y'all could have guessed that).
I heart Wipeout.
ehyou, digger & norm watching Braves.
Jet, Wipeout is a funny show. I would like to try it. If I get on I would have to wear a HABOTN shirt or something.
KIDS
Vivian just handed me her IPod wish list. Of course it included her favorite from The Police...
Rock Sand
Talk to Scottie B ... about the T-shirt ... he may have some left.
LGGB seriously hearts Wipeout
My favorite scene of 48 Hours was when Eddie Murphy was singing Rock Sand.
Rock Sand, LOL!
The only reason I'm watching this season of Whale Wars is to see that expensive high tech boat get run over in HD. I wish they'd get to it already.
Braves haning on 2 - 1.
bot 7
Also hanging on
Another no-no ...Edwin Jackson no-hits the Rays.
They just got rid of that guy. Oops!
ATL 3 Some Other Team 1
All is temporarily right with the world.
Danica got a sweet pair of YSL platforms for showing up to New Hampshire this weekend.
wait, what?
all would be right if I could thing of that song from the 70s, mostly instrumental, I think, with a yodelyodelyodel sounding lyric in it. I think I may have heard it in a commercial last week and it suddenly jumped into my head tonight.
Is THTs song Hocus Pocus by Focus?
A song I heard today that I really, really don't like - Midnight at the Oasis. Yuck!
Yea, Braves! McCann 100th homerun, Wagner 400th save.
Oh gosh, ehyou, I remember that song! I never could have told you the name, but I remembered it when I heard it. Blast from the past.
ehyou - I will be able to sleep tonight thanks to you.
You are my favorite Hottie.
shhhh... don't tell the others.
SNORT
Some useless info on that song:
It takes the form of a rondo, consisting of alternation between a powerful rock chord riff and varied solo "verses" (in the original all performed by Thijs van Leer) which include yodeling, organ playing, accordion, gibberish lyrics, flute riffs and whistling.
In 2010, Nike released a World Cup advertisement titled "Write the Future", which uses an excerpt from the song.
ah yes, it was in the Nike World Cup commercial
Bravos win.
THT can sleep.
Cincy hatin' on some music.
Norm eating a sodden Baby Ruth.
Jet stripping wax with a bench grinder.
It's been a good day.
Michael is a whiz at gibberish lyrics.
The one with Rooney, Ronaldo, and Homer Simpson? I hope two of the three get eaten by dinosaurs.
Cincy is also crying over very sore tricep muscles. This week I started doing arm weights when I walk and I think I really overdid the tricep part. Not just to the point of being sore, but to the point of crying out every time I straighten my arms.
USC has zero scarlet in their unis tonight. They look strange.
Their stirrups may be red. Can't tell because of them doggone long, baggy pants.
TCU used their $4million pitcher today to force a decisive game against UCLA tomorrow. Not sure they'll have enough arms tomorrow.
looks like the 2 SC schools are playing again tomorrow, too.
Cincy just for you!
Midnight at the oasis
Send your camel to bed
Shadows paintin' our faces
Traces of romance in our heads
Heaven's holdin' a half-moon
Shinin' just for us
Let's slip off to a sand dune, real soon
And kick up a little dust
That USCe pitcher really came through. USCe using only one pitcher and Clemson using 3 probably evened out the pitching availability for the game tomorrow.
Scotty ..I decided that there is no way to take a whiz on the UGA arches without ending up in jail. That was a great idea, but I was gutless and ...legal.
I don't know why the e/w distinction after USC bother me, but it does. It makes sense, and is widely used, but something about it irks me.
It was a long day ...g'nite all
The east/west distinction is a gov't conspiracy. That's what they want you to say.
What'd I miss?
a couple of soccer games today, that's about it.
You got a new phone?
Julio still hasn't been mentioned in Chris Low's countdown of the top players in the SEC. He released 7 today. Top 6? Geez!
ebro...
You were elected habotn ninny today. Congrats.
Technically, yes, I have a new phone. I bought a Droid Incredible, but they are on back order, so it will probably be a couple of weeks before I get it. Could've gotten a Motorola right away, but wanted to wait it out for the Incredible.
HABOTN ninny? What did I do to earn/deserve this?
Good choice on the phone e bro I love mine
I thought tonight would be quiet I was wrong
i had no idea it was 1 a.m.
I don't plan on copy/pasting every kickoff kountdown post from last year, but I couldn't help myself with this one.
HAPPY DAVID CAMPBELL DAY!!!
T-minus 70 days til kickoff!
The best to ever wear #70, and my 2nd all-time favorite AU Defensive Tackle, David Campbell was All-American in 1968. He almost single-handedly destroyed the Miami Hurricanes offense on October 26, 1968, helping pave the way to unranked Auburn's crushing 31-6 victory over the 9th ranked Canes.
Campbell had 7 sacks, that's SEVEN SACKS, in that game for -59 yards as Miami piled up a whopping MINUS 85 yards on the ground that day against an inspired AU defense. Never did Push 'em back, Push 'em back, Waaaaayyyy back have more meaning.
WARRRRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!
GO TIGERS!!!
movie's getting boring and eyelids getting heavy.
Sweeeeet dreams, Hotties!
Where the heck is fearless leader?
That's comforting to hear, Wake.
The Verizon guy seemed incredulous that I wanted to wait to get an Incredible instead of having a Motorola right away.
He just about tried to talk me out of it (is a faster processor and better camera really that big of a deal, battery power, etc.), but held firm.
I'm glad you are comforted, E Bro
Thanks bud..
I'll feel a lot more comfortable if the US beats Ghana on Saturday, though.
DON'T TREAD ON ME!!
g'night.
i like the Droid, so you really coudln't go wrong either way, but the incredible is significantly better in a few ways, especially size.
I think the phone holds its own aghainst in everyway. But the fact you get the Verizon network wtih it, makes it the best choice hands down... but thats just me.
Rise and shine, Hotties! Library opens soon so you better get up if you want a parking space!
70 days til kickoff - see 12:01 a.m. post.
THT,
There's a civil war store around the corner from my house. They supposedly have old stuff. I wonder if they have maps.
When I think about how some of us overreacted to the hire of Chiz I now sit back and laugh. We were scared that he couldn't take Auburn back to being a national power. Well the only ones that are scred now are the bammers in turd town. They know what is coming and we showed that last year when we dominated them for 58 minutes. The recruiting has taken a 360 since Coach Chiz and company arrived and we are owning the state. Looking back it is funny to think how we acted. Last year showed the possibilities while we took the cheating bammers to the wire and winning a New Year's Day bowl game.
OFFENSIVE STAFF - There is no comparison here but I'll give one anyway. Malzhaun is the mostly highly thought of OC in football. We are lucky to hang on to him. He is innovative and set records with a broken down QB. What he can do with a talent like Cam will be fun to watch. Trooper and Luper just make the offensive staff that much stronger. They are incredible recruiters that know how to relate to young people and reel their mommas in with them. They talk about the Auburn family and what it means to be a Tiger. Troop improved the WR's so much and Luper's RB's improved as well. I thought Grimes did a great job with the OL and that will show up even more during the upcoming season.
The bammer OC (McElwane?, I don't know how to spell it) is just doing what Saban says. He couldn't mustard anything against our defense last year. I don't know who their other coaches are because they aren't as well thought of as our guys. I think Pendry is a decent OL coach but I continue to hear that he is stepping down. The bams would trade with us right now. We are the offense kids want to play for. Who wants to play in an offense that throws it 12 times a game. If you are a WR do you want to play for a staff that can't figure out how to get the ball to Julio? It will be a long year for the turds on offense this year.
HUGE EDGE AUBURN!!!
DEFENSIVE STAFF - It's hard to tell from last year just how great this defensive staff is. The personel wasn't on par with Auburn teams of the past. Tubs left us high and dry. Roof and Chiz know defense and that will show this year with the incredible recruits coming in. Rocker is an unreal DL coach and now he has some depth to work with. The bammers had a good defense but this staff will have a hard time replacing all their losses. Smart is a good coach but he will probably leave after this year. What is joke is that they have a high school assistant coaching their DB's. If you remember the red neck that screamed a lot on the MTV show Two a Days then you know you their DB coach is. Nobody wants to work for Saban. Their best defensive assistant (I want say his name because he is a traitor) got out of there ASAP.
EDGE AUBURN!!
HEAD COACHES - Chiz is a rising star as a head coach. People love his family approach to coaching and he is highly thought of around the state. He has won over the state in a short amount of time because he can relate to people. The staff loves to work for him. Saban is a guy who only cares about himself. Things have gone well for him for a couple of years but they getting ready to crash and burn and I beleive he knows it. He is a dictator and cares about nothing but winning. He works his guys to hard and doesn't bring a Christian aspect to his coaching. We are so lucky to have a Godly man like Coach Chiz. This time next year Saban will be in his shadow.
Wow, Weeman, what an encouraging post to wake up to! Thanks for your analysis. Is it time for football yet? No, THT, says it is 70 days away!
Hoopie,
Thank you so much for reminding me of how much I hate that song with a few words. I had just about gotten it out of my head, but it is back!!!
OK, I shut down the computer for the evening, and I log back on this morning, and I see that Hoopie's lost his ever-lovin' mind.
Breakin' off "Midnight at the Oasis" lyrics?
There are two things, nay, three, I'd never expect from Hoopie:
1. "I wrote a letter to the Governor asking Lowder to be reappointed."
2. "Too many things said here are based on empirical evidence. We need more unadulterated speculation and raw emotion."
3. "I know your daddy's a sultan ..."
CIncy ..why is it that songs we hate stay in our head? I was hearing "It
s a Small World" for weeks after my last Disney visit.
I guess we need to follow THT's lead and transfer that hate into more hate for the Infidels.
Jet ..I blame that personality anomaly on the football off-season. I got too much time on my hands and am obviously seeking diversions. Thanks for the perspective, you may have brought me back from the edge.
THT,
What number did Ben Tamburello wear? I heard a neat tidbit about him yesterday. I have an older friend whose husband has very advanced Parkinson's and he can't be left alone. Different men from her church come and sit with him on Sundays so she can attend church. Her husband was a high school football coach for many years, so he loves talking football. Ben is one of the men who comes and sits with him. He brought him a Philadelphia Eagles jersey the last time. I love Auburn!
Tamburello was #55 Cincy.
today is day #70, right?
HAPPY #70 BOB MEEKS DAY hotties!
i just got back from Lowe's. kept running into some bammer couple wearing their tacky NC gear at every turn. i kept cursing them under my breath. as i am leaving the parking lot i contemplate hitting them with my Saturn.
my name is scottie b....and i HATE bammers.
GET SOME.
Happy Cincytiger day!
Aw, shucks, my own day :)
I've had my morning run, my breakfast and my shower. Now I'm relaxing a bit. F4* is at his grandparents for the weekend so that means we get to do some projects we've been putting off for around the house. I suspect Hot Wife won't think I need to relax quite as much as I think I will.
Midnight at the Oasis is terrible. Awful.
Keep Hate Alive.
Happy weekend all you hotties!!
Couple things as I was perusing comments 600-768: The 16 year old inside me always giggles thinking about the USC's being the Gamecocks and the Trojans. I just laughed a bit, again.
Cleaning the bookcase this morning I cam across my Auburn Fan Day 1988 picture board thing, and evidetly have an interesting group sign it. Carlo Cheattom, Craig Ogletree, Brian Shulman, Ron Stallworth, Gary Dunn, James Joseph, Lamar Rogers, Stacy Danley, Greg Taylor, Shan Morris, Quentin Riggins, Ace #18 (Alexander Wright), and of all folks Eric Ramsey. So I got some of the famous and an infamous one all on the same card
mytd...
Jet's gonna call you in the principal's office for mentioning that name. I'd stock up on the charmin if I were you.
MYTD ... Get your Exacto out and take care of it, or prepare to get your @$$ kicked. Period.
Eeeric Rammersee Can't seem to type it. Cut it now.
mtd - Sharpie or Exacto, whichever is more readily available to you.
library about to close, time to go home, get some lunch, and then settle in front of the TV to watch some sporting event that LGGB wants me to watch.
Why can't this library stay open all day on Saturday? It must the fault of someone from ua-t
I HATE UA-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE ua-t
I did a search on Ramsey as I was trying to remember when he graduated. One of the first things that popped up was a link to his "myspace" page. I don't do "myspace", but the photo on his page is him leaning against a wall shirtless with a real serious look on his face. Dude is 41 years old and he thinks it's cool to have a shirtless photo of himself on his myspace page. Sad. Funny too, but sad nonetheless. I wish him nothing but the worst.
BEAT GHANA!!
Treat Ghana like Eric Ramsey!
ditto Jet. ditto.
I have sometimes wondered whatever happened to the fine Ramsey couple. Whatever it is and wherever they are, I hope it's unpleasant every hour of every day.
And in case you were wondering, it's H.O.T. in my attic right now.
I hate history.
And unfortunately it just repeated itself.
I leave for a few hours and all you can manage is 2 posts? Man it's boring.
Have you boys seen your grade point averages yet? Well I have. They stink. They are the lowest in habotn history.
So I guess us girls' grade point averages are pretty amazing, hmmmm?
And, yeah, I know what you are quoting.
Mr. Blutarsky, zero point zero.
Chipper sends one deep to go up 3 - 1 against the Tigers.
Yes cincy. The girls are goody-goodies and always make good grades.
Norm your new habotn name is...ninny.
ebro is ninny, we can't both be "ninny". It's just bad form.
Kawakami just might get his first win. Too little too late.
Drats, you're right. Ebro was elected official habotn ninny.
Norm your new habotn name is...platypus.
It's about durn time he gets a win. I know he has had some bad games, but also in many of those games he got NO run support.
I think we should call Norm "Neville" after his favorite crooner.
I support that message.
And not the cool super agent type either!
NOT the Neville message. I can't get behind that one.
100mph fastball taken deep, that's just impressive all the way around.
I just notice Rafael Belliard in the Tigers dugout. I'd forgotten he was with them.
I'm thirsty.
A trip to the garage is in order.
Get your kicks on Route 66.
New page smell.
Jurgens set to start wednesday. This is probably the last we'll see of Kawakami.
He may hit the bullpen as a middle reliever type guy until they can unload him on someone else mid-season.
I chuckle every time Santana loses for the Mets.
