One way to settle this..
Let's wrestle...
jello or mud?
Joey Bag of Dumps ...
As you may recall, the poobahs and opinion setters of college football -- GameDay bozos -- were in Auburn for the Georgia game, and showered us with love following the butt kicking. The response? We made a move in the poll.
What was left to do? Keep the pedal down. We didn't. We fell back, and so all we could do was hope for UCLA to beat USC (which they gave them a pretty good battle), or K State to beat Oklahoma (which was a rout). The SEC Championship game didn't factor into any of it.
Any chance we had -- large or small -- died when we didn't pummel Bama because the yakkety yaks were ready to embrace us.
I don't think we should hve preseason rankings period.
remember, AU was the only amatuer team undefeated in 2004. #5 on USC was gettin' paid!!! you don't settle out of court for six figures if the person you settle with doesn't have the dirt on you. i'm going to laugh when they have to vacate the title if the ncaa ever has the gonads to do anything to their golden child.
OK... my TMOA is up. I don't think you guys are idiots anymore.
Agree Luv
*have durn typos
The ONLY undefeated SEC team since 1998 doesn't get a shot but a two loss LSU team wins it - and a one loss Florida team win it TWICE.
BILE: Breakfast of champions.
And was this schedule story from the NY Times?
WTF is the NY times rag doing writing stuff about AU? And why isn't anyone looking at the fact that the schedule's full and AU offered to play it in 2012?
Anuses! ALL OF THEM !!
We weren't #2 in the BCS after the Georgia game, Jet, and we were playing a crap team (Bama) and a team we had already beaten for our last two games. We had peaked; people weren't going to move us up any higher.
I don't know....I'd like to see you go a little TMOA on a the dumper.
What is TMOA?
I don't understand what you just said, MonD, but the word "dumper" made me laugh.
TMOA = Ten Minutes of AL.com. We invented it a couple of days ago. You argue like you are on the AL.com message board for 10 minutes.
Never said 2 in the BCS ... We'll never know if we peaked, except for the fact we played a crappy first half in Tuscaloosa, then let 'em score a cheapy at the end of the game.
I, for one, am tired of the "we got screwed" mentality. Because I believe it's a fable. None of you have to believe it.
Jackasses!
End of TMOA.
As you may recall, the poobahs and opinion setters of college football -- GameDay bozos -- were in Auburn for the Georgia game, and showered us with love following the butt kicking. The response? We made a move in the poll.
UP TO NUMBER THREE BEHIND TWO UNDEFEATED TEAMS.
There was NO chance. None. Nadda. Zilch.
We were ranked 3rd from week 10 on and only after Miami lost moving Oklahoma up to #2 and us to #3. The UGA game didnt change anything. We only garnered a couple more AP votes and that's it.
i don't believe AU got screwed in 2004.
i also don't believe espn is out for ratings and rivals etc. are not out for paying memberships.
Jet, we got screwed.
A fable is where the puppet eats the fox, and there is a moral about how you should never go near a puppet.
Getting screwed is when you have a better season than two other teams, but then you don't get a chance to play for the national championship. Different things.
And even if we had been put in the NC game, whatever team that got booted out would have been screwed. No undefeated BCS conference champ should be excluded from the NC game. But that's life.
I feel shame. I had to work for a living today.
But do you think we need a playoff system, chip chip?
Release yourselves from your victim mentality!
I'm not saying we didn't get screwed. I'm just saying no way we leapfrog the two teams that were in front of us no matter how we play bama.
And everyone knows we got screwed, hence the changes that were made and the LSU and UF championships.
WEG, I took the day off!
Here's the ultimate question ... what should control ... the poll or the computer?
I am going to become a therapist and start telling rape victims, "Well, actually you weren't raped. Quit this victim mentality crap."
You don't need to be a therapist to do that. Just become an attorney.
No. Oh no. Its better to think you actually had a say in getting screwed.
There's always room for a health dose of fantasy.
michael, you are being facetious, right?
But I feel it might be more damaging and unique if it came from someone who was trying to help you instead of the guy trying to get a rapist of the hook.
Yes Luv, I am just messing.
That's what I thought, but I was just checking. I didn't think you'd be the type to make light of rape.
Congrats, I'm speechless.
You know, an attempt humor by taking Jet's statement about victim mentality to the extreme, as in if you actually are a victim, is it wrong to feel like a victim?
I should do a MichaelJanTerri Storytellers where I explain my jokes. I know some people would probably appreciate that.
That's what I thought you were doing, but I wanted to be sure!
things get lost in the typewritten word.
Y'all act like using a rape joke to make a point about football is over reaching. What are y'all a bunch of tree hugging, feminists???
The good news is that Puppet Hour will soon be upon us.
TEA anyone?
Iced TEA?
Long Island TEA?
Sweet Tea vodka?
I don't know, just seems to be a bunch of Tea parties today!
That's me, Monica.
Tree hugger. Feminist. Raise your taxes. Protect the snail darter. Amnesty for puppets and pirates.
Boston Tea Party 2009 style
People yelling vote them out....didn't people just vote them in?! A bit confused.
and Pirate Hookers?
Allegedly 2,000 showed up in the Gump at the State House. Biggest crowd that didn't involve free pizza.
I say take a boat and ask for money...the old fashioned way...steal it.
AU1 ...
You're making too much sense. Stop.
Definitely, Monica.
Aye matey!! Pirate Hookers me lass.
Monica, you have mail.
"Biggest crowd that didn't involve free pizza."
Ha! I admit I am a sucker for free pizza.
I say these folks should be paying for their own pirate protection and now asking for my tax dollars to do it.
Pirate protectors....close relative to pocket protectors?
Have I been sounding like MJT?
JET
Only a playoff
Polls are for idiots
Computers can only spit out what you put in and they have always put in a bogus number like strongest schedule based on what they put in as strongest conference.PRE-DERMINED
Do we really have a say in what is done with our tax dollars??
Luv - You sure do!! Just no one is listening.
Exactly. They do what they want with it.
You have a vote Luv, and access to your representatives and Senators. So yes, you do have a say on what is done with you tax dollars.
We got it pretty good in this country, in my little ole opinion.
They don't care what I think. They just send out a form letter thanking you for your opinion.
First let me say this IS a great country.
But our voices are not always heard.
Our representatives votied against most of this spending.
NOW if I could vote out the likes of Kennedy, Frank Pelosi ect then I could be heard.
OK ... Digger.
I'm fine with a playoff ... how do you pick them? And how many?
It's going to be subjective either way -- with a committee picking the teams or a computer with human biases in the programming.
Personally, I like the NCAA tournament model.
Then vote for someone else, or write yourself in.
It's a representative democracy; we couldn't operate if the entire American public voted on every congressional bill.
They do care what you think.
I think a 4 team playoff would do the trick, Jet. I wouldn't want to cut into the traditional bowl season any more than is necessary.
I am sorry digger, I can't hear you, can you speak up? You sound like you are behind a door.
USC started 2004 # 1, Oklahoma started 2004 # 2, both of them are schools that the national media love, it would have taken a bribe of Bryant proportions for us to jump past them even if we had went beaten all 11 other SEC teams by three or more TD's and played only one non-conference game and had beaten a team from a power conference.
That being said, having W. Carolina, W. Kentucky, several games vs LaMonroe and LaTech, Ball State three times (if you count this coming year), UTMartin, Tenn Tech and several of the other teams that pop up on our schedule every single year doesn't help us either.
Kristina,
There was a pre-season BCS ranking back in 2004? If I remember correctly the BCS has always started up in early October.
Tough question.
Go back to 10 regular seasno games
Have all teams interested in National Championships join a conference.
Realign conferences so you have 8 regional conferences.
Take top 2 teams from each conference and have a playoff. Single elimination
I think the bowls will survive no matter what we do ... dad gum, every one of them draws a TV audience.
I am convinced after the Apocalypse, there will be no TV, except for the Cialis Four-Hour Bowl on ESPN 8, The Ocho
I don't want to mess too much with the the conferences. 12 teams in the SEC is enough. I hate that we stopped playing Tennessee every year starting in 1992 and Florida starting in 2003.
I'd hate to add new teams and have to drop UGA as well.
Yeah, just ignore me RK...
Au1
What part of that did you not understand?

I thought it was hilarious at the time, in 04, that the Bammer hung their hat on "keeping Auburn from playing for a BCS title" by hanging in the game in the IB.
It was shyte then and its shyte now.
I think there needs to be some type of playoff. It should be determined on the field - not human bias.
My playoff is simple.
Only 3 teams.
#1 ranked gets a bye week -- 2 plays 3.
Winner gets #1.
Very rarley does the number 4 and lower deserve a shot.
Luv ...
Humans are going to make the rules, so it will be subjective at some level.
Unless we can hand it over to puppets.
Another method I like is having the regular bowl season with all the pre-BCS bowl affiliations, and then let the #1 play the #2 after bowl season.
True, Jet, very true.
michael, what ye say about puppets running the show?
Joey ...
How 'bout this? It's what we (all college football fans) really want. Before the bowls, decided what we want to do for that season -- a title game ... 4 team playoff, no title game. Whatever.
We want to change the rules each to suit the latest problem. We'll never catch up to it.
Intelligence reports suggest that the puppet's plan for college football is to trick all conference champions to bite each other's hands off. We must not let them enact this plan.
Jet
It will remain as it is and we will be talking about when the Pirates take over the world.
Michael,
This is an issue on which I would be proud to support your position.
Take the puppets dentures out
NOW

Um, ok.
It's not the puppets that do the biting. They use that old trick where they get on someone's hand, antagonize a human, then the human naturally gets angry and bites the puppet, thus unwittingly biting off or maiming the human hand. Both Harrison and I have self inflicted hand injuries due to puppets. Thus the hate.
OK
Then we are doomed
Yeah, pretty much.
They do have one weakness: they are scared to death of sheep and goats. If only we had access to some sheep or goats...
Have you seen this?
OctoMom
Goats will eat anything
even the strings
O my that would be dis ass truss
Yes I saw that and there are some who will watch it
If it is on TLC, my wife will watch it.
Most likely, digger. I, for one, will not.
Me too
or
me neither
Folks, I am sorry I missed most of the discussion on how the 2004 team got screwed. The didn't get screwed. I should have let everyone know a long time ago, but I assumed you were all aware of this. The National Championship in college football is meaningless. If we took a vote on who is the national champ here on HABOTN, it would be just as valid as the BCSBSNC. I am not concerned with the national championship. There has never been a champ in major college football and that is not likely to change anytime in the near future.
Wooh!!! Glad I got that cleared up.
Steve speaks the truth.
It's true, but somehow it doesn't make me feel any better. Sigh.
I watch football because I enjoy the games. Winning them all is more important to me than if a bunch of people in a smoke field room vote who is the best team. Kick butt, take names. My undefeated team will kick your nation championship team's butt.
Well that's just ridiculous.
until AU wins the thing.
I'll trade with Florida at the moment.
Sorry Steve not buying it. I want the championship no matter how it comes. It may not be the best system, but its all we got.
An another note the announcer on the Ray's baseball game just said "And I always thought Canadiens were pretty smart". I missed the rest of the convo. I'm really wishing I knew what the heck they were talking about.
From Goldberg, 800-600-6014, I mean, al.com ...
"Get out your calculators. Auburn has just emailed how we're all going to keep score at Saturday's 1 p.m. A-Day Game in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
"Let's just say it's not traditional.
"The offense will get 6 points for a touchdown, 3 points for a field goal, 2 points for an `explosive play' (15 yards or more), 2 points for three consecutive first downs; and 1 point for a kick conversion.
The defense will get 7 points for a touchdown, 5 points for a turnover, 4 points for a sack, 3 points for a blocked field goal, 2 points for three-and-outs, 2 points for a tackle-for-a-loss and 1 point for a blocked PAT.
If this is any guide, the defense beat the offense 61-34 in the last scrimmage. The defense beat the offense 45-40 in the first scrimmage. Coach Gene Chizik has opted for this scoring method because injuries have hurt his depth, and he wanted to keep full units on the field."
I once asked a Bambi which he would rather have, the best team in the nation, or the nation champ. As expected, he said the national champ. I will take the best team in the nation.
Great.
And you'll have the buffet at the team banquet ALL TO YOURSELF because you'll be ALONE!
Marshall has some inside info on the practice in one of his for your eyes only blogs. I don't want to get into the content too much, because that is how he makes his living, but I will say that apparently Kodi made 3 huge mistakes during the scrimmage. Also, Caudle looked like he was the better QB. While Trotter has a strong arm, he isn't ready for prime time.
I've been trying to catch up on posts and noticed where yesterday folks were asking about Raven Gray. He transferred to Delta State.
As far as the national championship is concerned, as long as the majority of the votes come out of the Northeast and Left Coast, schools like Auburn will always have a hard time getting in the game until there is a playoff system.
I don't know that I agree Suntiger, I think any year but 04 and 05 we get in to the game if we do what we did in 04. We just had really bad timing. I don't think Florida would have gotten in in 04 if they had gone undefeated either. Those two teams were the top picks from the get go, it was going to be awful hard to pass them. Same story in 05. It will be harder for us then it will be for a Texas, UF or USC, but I think we can get in with the right season.
Are yall hearing what Jay Jacobs did? what a moron!
UCLA was going to travel to the Georgia Dome to open the season in 2010. What is the issue? Jay Jacobs would not agree to it. I swear. ESPN/ABC was going to pay us $500,000 to play in the game. But instead we have to pay some podunk school like Arky State, or UT-Chatt to come and play us, just so we get 8 home games.
jhag, we would make a lot more money paying a podunk team to come to Jordan Hare than $500,000. We pay podunk teams that much. Jay Jacobs isn't an idiot. It is just that what is best economically isn't necessarily what is best in terms of the fans.
By the way, from what I read at Undercover, it appears Caudle is the number one QB at the moment. This goes along with what jay said last night.
I find it truly amazing that Caudle is in the discussion. Last season I was thinking he would likely end up transferring. I gave him next to no chance to be the starter at the end of the season.
Brother Jet, I think I will just watch the A-Day game for entertainment purposes and not keep score. That scoring system will force much more thinking than I like to do at a football game. I hope there are no overtime rules:-)
Steve, its not all about hte money though. After this past season (and another tough one likely in store this year) we will be needing to rebuild our stock nationally in 2010. What better way than by beating a big name school in the season opener in a nationally televised game.
Getting waxed in front of a national television audience won't exact help our reputation.
If we get waxed by UCLA then our reputation doesn't matter we are a bad team. But if Chizik is able to turn things around quickly, and we are a pretty good team, we can show that in the game.
I know you say you don't care, if we open the season with UCLA in 04 we might have beat out Oklahoma, not likely but a better possibility.
Yeah whatever, I don't wanna hear economy we have some of the best boosters around
I don't know if you are up on current events, but we are a bad team.
? I'm aware
I heard about the UCLA thing this afternoon and couldn't have been more disappointed. They are one season ahead with the rebuilding. Doesn't say much for what we think of our team in 2010.
They then offered Ga Tech vs UCLA and UCLA turned that down...
As I have said, we are likely at least 4 years away from competing in the SEC west. It could end up taking much longer.
I think it would be great publicity and exposure in Atlanta the hotbed of the south....
BUT we play Clempson already + SEC schedule= potential disaster...IMO
The Gridiron Breakdown goes live at 7 p.m..
Check it out for Bama news if you want to.
My first impression was dismay that AU would not play UCLA. Good or bad it at least gets your name in the spotlight. however, I thought along the same line of Steve that if we got a but whuppin' it would not look good. how impressed was everyone with Clemson at their 1st game last year?
I know it is for economics and keeping your team from getting beat to a pulp with too many tough games but I hate the creampuff games. They do nothing for you and can be embarrasing at times.
digger, I agree. I hate the cream puffs. Surely we can find better schools to play. It doesn't make easy to go to AU on Saturdays to play those teams.
I understnad the SEC is tough argument, but come on. Citadel, Samford, really that is the best AU can do.
Jus tmy opinion, however, I will be there for The Citadel, Samford, ark St.
If we turned down a date with UCLA, we are MORONS! I cannot stand the cream puff games that fill our schedule to go along with the one decent game.
On another note, I will make my way down to A-Day this weekend and I will be supporting my HABOTN shirt. If anyone see's me, say hi!
There is another thing. I don't like it when Auburn opens up with a top notch opponent. 1983 comes to mind. I think we openned with Texas and got spanked pretty good. I think it was like 22-7 or something like that. That game likely cost us a shot at a national title.
For you young pups, remember some openers against Georgia Tech?
Our schedule is plenty tough these days. Take a look at it. Furman is a patsy, but Ball State is far from it. Even Louisiana Tech is no patsy. Don't underestimate them. Ask Bama about those lesser known Louisiana schools.
Not playing UCLA does't bother me a bit.
Steve- Disagree with Ball State. They are going to be fairly weak this year. Lost a lot of players from last year's good run.
Tubs didnt bother you Steve so it makes sense that not playing UCLA wouldn't either
Why would Tubs bother me?
And I don't really see the connection to UCLA and Tubs.
Steve- From above, if we are 4 years from contending in the West, then we should have fired Tubs 2 years ago. No way are we that far away. We are not 4 years from contending in the west, 2-3 at most, definitely not 4.
Don't lose again Braves, please! Your all I've got right now
So...wonder if there is a way that I can make both A-Days this weekend?
We wussed out. We should be playing UCLA.
4 years to start winning?..or go undefeated? Ol Miss and Bama started winning much quicker than that. AU has a lot of defensive talent. Get some offensive talent and we can be back.
I was worried that AU fans would be abnormally positive because of the new coaches....well...that's not the case. Due to lack of offensive depth, this next season's results will hinge much more on the number of offensive injuries than most seasons. If CGM is as good as expected, the offensive starters can keep us respectable(7-8 wins) this season.
All that worry about the fans for nothing, Hoopie. There's a lesson to be learned here.
This pic is for Jet...
I know he will love it. I think he should make it his background pic.
Pat Dye
Wow...I'm late to the UCLA deal, but man does that SUCK.
I expect nothing less from Jay Jacobs. You have a chance to give your team national exposure against a school that is in the process of rebuilding, just like you are, and you BLOW it.
That picture sucks, FSJ.
LUV - you may have already gone to bed, but just in case, you're welcome!
I love TEA parties! Miss THT and I went to a TEA party in Raleigh.
Penguins up 4-0. GO PENS!!!
Just don't look natural does it barkley?
Nah, neither will James Willis this fall...
I'm ready to take on the USC mentality. We will play anyone anywhere. I would love the opportunity to head to the Horse Shoe, the Big House or Austin, Texas. I love big time road games. Who cares if we lose. Exposure would be great.
Willis is also paying dividends so far.
We got a visit out of a kid that i thought was a stone cold lock for Auburn.
His uncle was the first African American to play football at Auburn I think. They both came down to visit today and are supposed to be at A-Day.
Auburn will sign him, but we aren't giving up on anyone. I kinda like that attitude.
Yeah, that kid was in Auburn a couple of weeks ago. I don't know too much about him, who else has offered?
His name is Ladarius Owens from Jess Lanier in Birmingham. His uncle is James Owens.
He said he has offers from Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, & Tennessee...so he's the real deal.
Yeah, yeah, I remember him now. He's going to be in tuscaloser for A-Day? BOOO
SteveFC- yes, I was there for UTx game in '83. 20-7, I believe. We played 4 Top 10 teams that year, including 3 straight weeks late in the season, beating UF, MD (Boomer Esiason) and UGa. An easy Game 1 would have been nice.
damnit braves
Mario Fannin didn't even get to 500 total yards last year...i overrated him in my mind for some reason.
Since I am entirely to lazy to read 357 comments, I was hoping someone might sum up the high points for me.
My guess is we are anywhere from 4 to 25 years away from contending in the west. If CTT had stayed, we would have likely contended this season.
you really think we would have succeeded with the same coach and same team?
Okay so I read a few ... No tournament in football anytime soon and yes, there were actually a little more than 2000 down there.
minus benton and rollison, emory blake
I would love to see us start scheduling the big name opponents also. Unfortunately college football is big money and colleges have to make business decisions.
SteveFC- there's that optimism I've been missing from you, even if it is hypothetical. As for me, I can't imagine Tubs and whoever his latest/greatest OC would have been contending in '09.
I think we would have competed if we hadn't lost all the players because of the coaching change. Jermaine Johnson was the biggest hit, but there were a ton of them. Chris Slaughter was a big hit. We lost numerous linemen. The recruiting class turned out nearly as good as what we may have done under Tuberville, but the other loses aren't something that is going to be replaced quickly. We also lost one of the most successful coaching staffs in the SEC. Now we have a lot of your guys that are largely unproven. It will take a long time to stabalize the staff. The good ones will take head coaching gigs. The bad ones will be fired. It is actually one of the issues Tuberville had. He did well replacing coordinators, but you really have to find coaches that want to be coordinators. I think Borges was a good one and should have never been fired. I also think that Rhoads may have been very content as the DC for many years. My guess is that getting rid of Knox would have been a good idea, or at least moving him to an admin position.
The thing that is important is what we have now. I am not sure why people want to continually bring up Tuberville. We have to deal with what we have now. We have a coaching staff that is young and has limited experience. Some are good recruiters. Hopefully Malzahn will be a great OC. But we are dealing with a staff that is not close to the level of the staff we lost. They may grow into the job, but it will take time.
The hiring of Chizik very much reminded me of the hiring of Shula at Bama, except Shula went with older coaches. Chizik went after younger coaches and particularly good recruiters. If these young pups become great coaches, this could work out very well. It just takes time. I thought it obvious when the change was made that we were aware of this.
THT, Tuberville had us contending in the west almost every season and we won or shared the west title about half the time.
Malzahn has three years of OC experience had has had success at both schools he's coached at. Trooper Taylor is an SEC vet and was part of a good offensive staff at OSU as was Curtis Luper. Ted Roof has won the Broyles Award at DC and has head coaching experience. Lolley has been around forever, and Tracy Rocker is also a vet coach at his position. These don't sound like a lot of younger, inexperienced guys, Steve.
Seanzie, compare that with the previous staff.
Tuberville since his best season went one game worse in conference every season and as at the helm of the worst Auburn season since the Bowden fiasco in 1998, in his tenth year. I respect the man but c'mon Steve, be real.
I think pound for pound this staff, outside of Chizik and his short record is just as good as the previous, if not better.
steve, steve, steve. i love you man, but sometimes i worry about you. what on earth makes you think tuberville would have us in contention for the west next year?
there must be some strooooong tubby kool-aid up in south carolina. the chizik hire was bad, but tuberville was through, couldn't you see that?
I'll compare that to the former staff. DAY AND NIGHT. A bunch of very talented up and comers (and more than one future head coach) vs. a bunch of hangers on who are standing around waiting on tenure and who will never be head coaches at any DI or DII school ... EVER.
Tuberville was headed down a bad road.
He knew that. I knew that. You knew that.
Jay, I heard Ronaldo's goal was sick, I'm sure you loved that win.
Those out of conference games look grea on the schedult until we lose them. AU needs to learn how to beat unranked SEC teams at home when favored before we decide to play a big boy schedule.
"great on the schedule"-my bad
Phred, during the next season start counting the teams that beat us who have coaches that were on Tuberville's staff.
And Jay is right. There is definitely a reason Tuberville wanted to leave, but I am not going to get into that.
we all knew that come on...hence the "resign"
Anybody know where I can get Firefly Vodka in Montgomery?
I have the same question as J-Z but change Gump to ATL.
Steve FC ... I'll pay you $20 every time that happens. you pay me $20 every time it doesn't. Deal?
Looking at it from the outside....if Tuberville wasn't going to be able to keep up on the recruiting front, he needed to go, IMO
Sounds great Phred. When do I get my first $20. We are talking about teams with former Tuberville coaches, correct?
Tuberville cared about Auburn recruiting about as much as you care about Auburn recruiting, FSJ.
Tuberville was bringing in top 10 recruiting classes, other than the season Saban arrived. That was going to be a small class anyway.
The proof of what I say is coming. Watch and find out.
We are talking about coaches from last years staff.
Exactly Barkley..thats why he needed to go
We need a list of teams. I can think of MSU, UT, Arkansas, Bama, and Ole Miss that all have former Tuberville coaches. My guess is we win one of those.
I prefer some new blood with fire in their belly vs experienced staff and HC who seemed ready to move on. Recruiting mistakes are starting to really show, and they didn't happen overnight. They won't be corrected overnight either, I hope Chizik and Co are given a chance to show what they can do with a more complete roster of players.
The biggest recruiting mistakes have been with the incoming recruits as well as the linemen we have lost.
GREAT look what the bammers reeled in...
http://www.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=63902&sport=1
Eddie Gran went to UT. Who else from "the previos staff" is somewhere? I don't know.
I'm following your earlier argument of the "previous staff" which means coaches who walked the sidelines last season. This is to be distinguished from "all of Turbervilles former coaches."
I thought we were discussing vodka.
Anyone know if A-Day will be televised? I will take PPV.
Price or Dunn went to Ole Miss. Don't recall which. Willis went to Bama.
Arkansas has Petrino, that is a former staff member. Didn't one of the coaches go to Georgia also?
over 30% of tub's last four classes are GONE. ADIOS. BUST. SUCKED. i don't care where rivals or whoever else ranked them.
I see we are on the Tubbs vs the current staff again.
It's over. He is gone. Move along. He left us with not a whole lot. He MAY have recruited OK but the players left. If you are not there to play, who cares. Look back at some of those classes. Some highly rated players were counted in two classes. Not a good sign for the staff.
It was Price that went to Ole Miss.
Can you count petrino? He wasn;t on staf last year.
